Came in for brunch with my wife. Beautiful day so we sat on the patio. Ordered food and drinks and chatted while it was being prepared. Only 3 total parties at the restaurant. A couple who came in after us received their food order. At this point we knew something was off. Our waiter came back and informed us something was wrong with our food. I inquired as to what was wrong and he told me that he had never actually entered our food into the system. We decided that after waiting 45 minutes for eggs and sausage that never came, we would go somewhere else for an early lunch. Waiter asked us to pay for the coffee so I obliged. Americano was fine and the cappuccino was below average (didn’t finish either drink). Was told to wait for the cashier to get off his break. Turns out he was in the toilet. After 7 minutes and multiple phone calls to the poor man, he came out of the stall and cashed us out. Cannot imagine what a cluster this place is when the restaurant is at full capacity. Better customer service would have gone a long way - we are in Bali after all. You are far better off dining at another spot. Many places are eager for...
Read moreThe restaurant has a nice vibe but that’s pretty much it. There were only two waitresses on around 10-12 tables and they couldn’t handle it. There was even a couple that sat down and eventually gave up because they were trying to order and no one took notice of them. We ordered the lasagna and cannelloni bolognese. The lasagna was under cooked and the sauce felt like it was canned. The cannelloni was a little better but nothing to write home about. The only thing that was good in both of the meals was that there was an actually fresh salad (which is hard to come by in Bali). In addition, we payed as much for each dish as we would’ve payed in a much better restaurant nearby. I wouldn’t recommend eating here. Maybe the...
Read moreNice cafe eatery with a varied menu of local and western foods. Spacious, relaxed setting with very friendly staff.
I had the Soto Ayam and the Pumpkin coconut soup. The Soto ayam was full of flavor, touch of curry with a mild sweetness in the background complimented by a touch of lemongrass. The PC soup is delicious, thick & creamy making it quite filling, served piping hot with a piece of warm focaccia.
A slice of carrot cake for dessert, was classic in flavor and not overly sweet, but tender and a bit moist. Which is perfect, because who wants dry...
