I recently had the pleasure of enjoying daily breakfast buffet and Sunday brunch at Daily Social, during our stay located in the beautiful Sheraton Bali Kuta resort and it was nothing short of extraordinary.
Ambiance: From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was welcoming and vibrant. The elegant yet relaxed decor, complemented by the stunning views of the infinity pool and ocean, set the perfect backdrop for a leisurely breakfast and brunch buffet. The open and airy layout, combined with natural light streaming in, created a serene and inviting environment.
Service: The service at Daily Social was impeccable. The staff greeted us with warm genuine smiles and were attentive throughout our meal, ensuring that our we had everything we needed. Their attentiveness, friendly demeanor, positive energy, and professionalism significantly enhanced our dining experience.
Attention to Detail: Every staff displayed impressive attention to detail throughout our meal. They ensured that our table was perfectly set, our water glasses were always filled, and that we had everything we needed without ever having to ask. They were remarkably observant, discreetly removing empty plates and replenishing our drinks promptly.
Menu Knowledge: Staff provided insightful recommendations, highlighting both the popular dishes and their personal favorites. They took the time to explain the ingredients and preparation methods, which greatly enhanced our appreciation of the culinary offerings. Their passion for the cuisine was evident and contagious.

Every staff provided exceptional services and was very hospitable. One staff member, Freddy, was truly set apart was his ability to personalize the service. He remembered our preferences and anticipated our needs, creating a tailored dining experience that felt exclusive. Whether it was suggesting a special authentic dish to accommodating special dietary requests with ease. Freddy went above and beyond to ensure our satisfaction. Throughout our meal, Freddy maintained a perfect balance of professionalism and warmth. He engaged us in pleasant conversation, sharing interesting anecdotes about the local culture and cuisine, while also giving us ample space to enjoy our meal. One notable instance was when Freddy noticed my interest in the Balineses special sauce. He took the initiative to bring a sauce sampler with a detailed explanation. His genuine hospitality made us feel like valued guests rather than just patrons. This thoughtful gesture and genuine hospitality were the highlight of our dining experience and showcased his dedication to creating memorable moments for the guests.
Cuisine: The breakfast buffet at Daily Social is a gastronomic delight. The buffet featured a wide array of international and local dishes, all prepared with the highest quality ingredients. From the fresh station offering variety of noodle soup to the live cooking stations serving made-to-order omelets and waffles, every bite was a taste of perfection.
The selection of pastries and desserts was equally impressive. The freshly baked croissants were buttery and flaky, while the tropical fruit selection was fresh and vibrant. The highlight for me was the Balinese-inspired dishes, which provided an authentic taste of the local cuisine.
Beverages: The beverage options were plentiful, with a range of fresh squeezed juices, coffee, and tea, as well as a delightful selection of wines.

I recently dined at Daily Social Restaurant in the Sheraton Hotel, Kuta. While the food was above average and thoughtfully presented, my overall experience was a mixed one.
🥘 Food & Presentation
The dishes were the highlight of the evening. Each item was well-plated and the flavors were satisfying — not quite gourmet-level, but certainly a few steps above your typical resort fare.
🏨 Atmosphere & Setting
The restaurant itself, however, felt basic and understated, especially given its location in a five-star hotel. Don’t expect lavish décor or an upscale ambiance — the design and layout are functional, not luxurious. It lacked the visual flair or atmosphere you might anticipate in a premium setting.
👩🍳 Service & Staff
The service was attentive and professional. Staff members were courteous, helpful, and had a good command of English, which made communication easy and comfortable.
😕 Major Disruption
Unfortunately, my visit was marred by an unpleasant experience that significantly impacted the evening. A fellow guest in the restaurant was talking loudly on speakerphone and using extremely foul language throughout his conversation. I brought this to the attention of the staff, but their response was simply a smile — no action, no intervention. This lack of management left me disappointed, as it disrupted the otherwise pleasant atmosphere and indicated a lapse in hospitality standards.
📉 Final Impression

Read moreThis restaurant is attached to the Sheraton Kuta Hotel and Resort in Bali. My friend and I stayed in the hotel and recieved free breakfast every morning at The Daily Social. It was incredible. It is an open buffet that has both Indonesian and Western breakfast items available.
Staff went above and beyond to make sure that we enjoyed our time in the restaurant. They would ask every day I'd there was a specific drink they could provide for us, they learned that I loved fried banana and went out of their way to make it happen, even though it wasn't on the daily menu. We mentioned we wanted to try a specific dish that was out for the day, and they remembered and provided it, without us asking, for the remainder of our breakfasts at the restaurant. Staff knew our names and greeted us each morning, were quick to provide recommendations of local places to travel to, and were helpful in answering any questions we had about spots to run errands at. We couldn't have asked for a breakfast experience. I, being from Canada, was always more timid with my ice and fruit consumption, but I had no stomach troubles at all at their restaurant. I was adventurous and tried anything and everything (including fruits and ice) that was available. We were also brought a special welcome platter of fruits that was delightfully personalized with our names on it.
