RAWLINGS UBUD — Restaurant in Pulau Bali

This is such a gem of a little warung!

There are many beautiful cafés and restaurants in Ubud, and many serve delicious food. Rawlings stands out, though - everything is absolutely delightful! The food is so good, and beautifully presented.

While the menu is small, it is really varied and suits different tastes. From healthy "hippie" food (fresh pressed juices and smashed avo) to typical Indonesian dishes (Mie Goreng or Nasi Goreng) to standard Western food (juicy burgers with the crunchiest chips (French fries) ever!).

Aside from the delicious food and good background music, staff here is so friendly. Intan in particular is so warm and friendly - we had lovely chats and she made me a sample dessert of a new dish for the menu: black stick rice (verdict: yes please!).

Such a wonderful place - run, don't walk! It's close to the hustle and bustle of the main streets but an instant oasis of peace in one of the side alleys. Can't wait...

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Rawlings and I must say, it was an incredible experience from start to finish. The food was absolutely delicious, with each dish bursting with flavor and freshness.

Not only was the food exceptional, but the staff was also incredibly friendly and attentive. They went above and beyond to ensure that my dining experience was enjoyable and comfortable. Their warm hospitality truly added to the overall ambiance of the restaurant. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a fantastic dining experience.

This restaurant particularly stood out to me, initially walking past it had a great atmosphere busy and buzzy with great music. A quite and unassuming restaurant that looks clean and classy form the outside so I though as a budget traveler it may be too expensive. However after looking at the menu I was pleasantly surprised by the incredible value cost of their food. I have returned multiple times over my 5 days in Ubud and the food and service is always outstanding.
