It's unfortunate you have to give someone one star to write a review. These gangsters don't deserve to see the light of day. I went in and ordered a pint, to sit at a table, as you do in a bar. The bar woman says "Would you mind not sitting there, that's a table for 4 people. Can you sit at the bar or in the back. " ... i had a laptop and had to do a few things in privacy. All they cared about was their money to fill a 4 person table in a pub. So I obliged. Even though I felt like saying shove it and to walk out the door... i moved to a table in the back. Some guy who looks like the manager. Moved me with my open laptop And 2 gear bags and my jacket and my pint up to the bar. The bar was too high for a laptop and the stool too low. I didn't take one sup out of my drink, I gathered my belongings and left . I left them keep the 5 euro for the pint that I didn't drink. And moved to another bar where sitting at a table isn't an issue. You seem to be some ignorant people trying to pocket from the tourist trade. And believe me no one I know will.be having a drink in your establishment. By the way I picked out two tables to sit at. The place was fairly empty and you had a fully empty back room....

Walked in the door with my friend, we were staying the night in Dublin.
Was met with a man staring us up and down as if we had two heads, not a word, no hello, no how can I help you etc. We politely asked him if we could get some breakfast.
He replied with 'I don't usually serve people with tracksuit bottoms'
I laughed, as thought he was joking (as its just a basic pub, nothing special by any means!) he then abruptly said 'it's not a laughing matter' and seemed angry at us.
Then he proceeded to tell us, he'd give us food but we weren't getting drink. We asked about breakfast not alcohol.
Then he told us to go down the back and sit around the corner, I believe it was so nobody would see us and what we were wearing. (Tracksuit bottoms and football jerseys).
At this stage, enough was enough and we left as couldn't stand being spoken down to and making us feel as if we were criminals.
Went up the street to O'Connells bar and was welcomed in and the most...
Read moreClose to Dublin Connolly Station, arrived with a few hours to kill before a gig in the Arena, and I wanted a quick bite and some creamy Dublin Guinness, rude not to when here, saw the signs for all day food and headed in. Great manners and tonnes of charisma on the barman Justin. Lovely uncomplicated pub grub menu, lovely sausage and mash, personally I would have liked a little more gravy but from a presentation point of view the amount of gravy I like would make for awful plating and I was so hungry I wolfed the lot before even asking for extra, that's on me, but perhaps a little gravy boat on the side could be a good touch. Can't fault the place, and the warmth of Justin's welcome, his attentiveness and humour with all the customers in a busy bar was exemplary 👌🏼 Refreshing in a world that seems to surpress staff having personalities but I digress. Great spot near enough next to the station if in need of a good feed and...
