As an Italian, I didn’t expect to find pizza this good in Dublin, but Pa Pa Pizzeria truly surprised me. The dough is light, perfectly baked, and the toppings are fresh and flavorful. Even better, it’s super easy to digest—a rare quality when eating out.
We tried the 12" Margherita (€10) and the 16" Margherita (€16) on two different occasions. These prices (as of January 6, 2025) are the lowest we’ve seen in Dublin for pizza of this quality. The pizzeria is located on Dublin Portal Street, a spot that’s not as busy as it deserves to be. It’s a shame because this place really stands out.
The space is small, but there are a few seats where you can comfortably enjoy your pizza. It’s also open late, which was perfect for us since we visited in the evening. At first, the staff seemed a bit reserved, but after chatting, we found them to be very kind and welcoming.
If you’re in Dublin and craving authentic pizza, I highly recommend Pa Pa Pizzeria. It’s a hidden gem that deserves way more attention. Give it a try—you...

We went for a slice of pizza before a gig and the pizza tasted days old. It made myself and my partner feel poorly for a couple of days but the main issue with this place wasn't even that. My girlfriend also left her coat behind by accident then later we returned to see if it had been handed in. It had. They tried charging us €200 to give her coat back, when they realised we weren’t going to pay he put the tip jar infront of us and tried to make us pay for it back. When we said we weren’t paying he said they didn’t have it and told us to leave. But, thanks to the group of 6 girls who were disgusted by him and his behavior who all walked out without getting food and without paying due to his actions, he finally gave the jacket up. He was rude, abrupt and ive never seen customer service this bad. DO NOT EAT...
Read moreFirst off, I have to say, the pizza? It looks fabulous. The flavor? Exquisite. As advertised, the Hot and Spicy is exactly what it says "Hot and Spicy" my lips are burning, they were generous with the toppings, unlike most places. They didn't hold off on the chilis. It's the perfect dish for when you can't decide between tacos or pizza. It's a taco pizza, throw some iceberg lettuce on it, and there you go.
As for the cheesy garlic bread? Absolutely incredible. The garlic was perfect, it was subtle and perfect for the pallet. My husband can't eat garlic, the smell of it makes him sick and I was able to eat this wonderful bread without him smelling it (he has a nose of a hound dog, he smells everything)
It's been several minutes after eating and my lips? Still burning deliciously.
Cheap has great prices and is total...
