The food was good, but not amazing. The service was kind, but not incredibly knowledgeable or attentive. We sat on the patio outside. The ambiance was quite nice, and the city didn't disappoint with people watching. The pasta itself was good - but not amazing. I'm unsure if the pasta was freshly handmade, but both the penne and spaghetti did not have a fresh handmade texture / taste. The sauces were good for the bolognese and arabbiata. The bolognese was tasty but not full of flavor other than meat. The arabbiata was very garlicy - I expected more kick. We also had the burrata and arancini. Both were a strong B. The arancini was not as crunchy as I had hoped for and the sauce on the burrata overshadowed the delecate cheese's flavor. I would come here again just for the surroundings. The price for the food was very good. The meal was good, and with good company - totally worth.

Very disappointing place. After seen all these great reviews I was delighted to see the place in person. Unfortunately, no one greeted us upon arrival. Then took our order only 20 minutes after we came. Refill request was totally ignored. After the reminder, they brought me my glass and didn’t even apologize for such disrespectful service. At the end we asked to share the bill, but this request got ignored as well. On top of that, my bruschetta was served on sandwich bread (I can’t believe it happened to me at Italian restaurant!) with tomatoes dripping oil! Meats plate was served with absolutely flavorless arugula without any dressing.

The pizza here was so saggy the dough was not done an very wet , we asked for another one and it was the same . The fact that they put a bottle of olive oil on the table that looks expensive but on the inside is vegetable oil . The milestrone soup is nothing like the original and the Caesar salad was so so . The croutons were saggy. I would not recommend this place. Not to mention the store bought baguette that comes with the soup . It was extremely dry and no flavour on it . They could have added some garlic and olive oil to it . But they are cheap. I like Italian food but this was a disgrace !

Bad, bad experience!! Terrible hygiene in the kitchen! The chefs prepare the dishes without gloves and eat with the hands and drink while they are preparing the dishes…

The extractor fan didn't work and the smoke spread throughout the restaurant.

The staff was very rude, especially one waitress who said her name was Andrea, but she didn't understand anything that was being asked for.

When I asked for a invoice, she replied that no one asked for that, so she didn't seem very interested in solving the problem. She just gave me a piece of paper without the restaurant name or VAT number.

After insistence, she called the chef who finally agreed to my request. They phone to the manager but they gave the information that I should contact him for the invoice…After explaining several times that I didn't live in Ireland and will leave the next day and I needed the invoice to justify the expenses, they gave me the manager’s email to request the respective invoice. Finally, when the waitress Andrea brought the change bill, she got the wrong change. I reinforce that it wasn't correct, she ended up confessing that she didn't have any coins to give me the correct change.

Then I asked her if it were the other way around, if the restaurant didn't receive the correct bill amount, would they accept it? That's when she decided ask the chef to give me the correct change. She didn’t apologize and spoke in a very aggressive and rude manner. Then the chef came to defend the waitress….What an Italian mess.!!When I left the restaurant, they were rude to me and to my young son. A terrible experience! These restaurants should be inspected by the competent authorities in terms of hygiene and taxes.

It is unacceptable that the capital of an EEC country, such as Ireland, allows these restaurants to operate without...

Dined here Friday 18th March. Sorry no pictures as sitting watching the chefs cook with the wonderful smells meant that when food arrived we all dived in Shared some amazing starters bruchette, calamari. Courgette with sauces Mains were veg ravioli which was so tasty. Daughter had a fish pasta and the amount mussels and prawns was brilliant. Hubby had veal pasta dish and he said best ever. Every plate was cleaned. The food is so tasty, the flavours explosive. I had the tiramisu and just melted on the tongue so light. The wine my daughter and hubby said was beautiful once it was allowed to breath which so many forget to do and moderately priced. They also enjoyed their complimentary Lemoncello All the staff are pleasant and helpful This place is amazing and we would highly recommend. A very happy trio headed off to Bord Gais theatre to see The Lion, The Wichet and...
