We are two Korean families living in Germany, and we visited Dublin for our holiday. During our five-day stay, we went to Ninja Sushi Asian Restaurant four times — twice for dine-in and twice for takeout. That probably tells you how much we enjoyed this place!

Although it’s a Japanese restaurant, like many others in Europe, it’s run by Chinese staff. Because of that, the ramen has more of a Chinese-style flavor rather than a traditional Japanese one — which was the only minor downside for me.

Apart from that, everything else was excellent. The rolls were large, fresh, and delicious. The basic Japanese dishes such as takoyaki and tempura shrimp were of high quality, and the donkatsu rice bowl, yaki udon, and yakisoba were also outstanding. The food was served very quickly, which made the experience even better.

The lady owner and the staff were very kind and flexible. Once, due to our family situation, only our children came to pick up the food for takeout, and the owner kindly allowed us to return later to pay — which was incredibly considerate.

Overall, both the food and the service were fantastic. We truly enjoyed every visit and would highly recommend this restaurant. If we come back to Dublin again, we will definitely...

We made a dinner reservation through Google on Friday night. Our hotel was very close by, and the restaurant’s high rating (4.7) was definitely appealing. When we arrived, everything seemed fine—the place looked clean, and we were on time, even arriving three minutes early for our 8:00 PM reservation.

However, there were two people in front of us who, as it turned out, didn’t have a reservation. After keeping us waiting at the entrance for more than 10 minutes, the staff member finally called for a table for two—but gave it to the other two people, justifying it by saying, "They arrived first." This made us wonder: what’s the point of having reservations then?

After another 10 minutes of waiting (and getting quite hungry), they offered us a shared table in an upstairs bar area, which we declined since we had made a proper reservation. In the end, after waiting for over 30 minutes, they still couldn’t find us a table, so we left.

I can’t judge the food, and the staff member wasn’t particularly rude, but the commitment to honoring Google reservations was absolutely nonexistent. It seems like you’re better off just showing up and hoping...

I have always been a regular customer here...but recently I have been having a very unpleasant shopping experience...the spicy boxes I always buy with extra chicken...the portions of two at the beginning have become half the size of both boxes...last night's order was the opposite. It’s a box
The portion size is one box less... I'm really disappointed... Plus the female boss's attitude is too unfriendly every time I go to buy... Ninja sushi is no longer the same as before.

I think you are going in the wrong direction. This is not a question of free compensation for spicy boxes, but a question of the morality of your staff. I'm a student from a poor family. I usually rely on your spicy boxes and half-price sushi, but every time I go to buy them, your manager looks down on me, which hurts me. My image of your store has collapsed. I will not buy your food again, nor will I accept...
