Rotana City on Parnell Street is an absolute gem! From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with a beautifully clean and well-maintained space that boasts stunning decor, combining a modern touch with authentic Middle Eastern charm. The menu is extensive, offering an incredible array of fresh and clean Mediterranean dishes that showcase authentic Lebanese cooking at its finest. The lamb kofta and chicken kofta are absolute standouts – perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection. The accompanying sauces and salads are vibrant, fresh, and packed with flavor, elevating the meal to another level. Don’t leave without trying their baklava desserts! They are wonderfully indulgent – flaky, sweet, and the perfect end to an already fantastic dining experience. The service is flawless, with staff who are friendly, attentive, and clearly take pride in making sure every guest feels welcome. In this day and age, it’s rare to find such excellent value for money, and Rotana City delivers it in spades. The only thing to note is that they don’t serve alcohol, but the quality of the food and overall experience more than makes up for it. I will definitely be returning to this wonderful restaurant soon!

Hello people, here is my feedback for the Rotana City restaurant in Dublin which i visited about a week ago: i got tempted by its excellent online rating as libanese restaurant. As i entered i found its ambience to be more like a snack place, although, once the food is presented on a plate at the table, it gets a tiny bit more restaurant-like. Nevertheless, i ordered a coke (picture) and got an unopened can on my table with a wrapped straw. Also, the menu display with its prices is very typical for a simple kebap places. So i ordered a "chicken shawarma plate" main course with a coke, an ice cream (deepfreezer coconut type) and a libanese coffee. The food was nice, but i ended at 30€. I doubt i would pick this choice again. Ah yes, one more thing: the cutlery was not in a good quality stainless steel type as i'd expect in a restaurant. But that's just a detail. Resume: less a restaurant to me, more like an expensive snack with extras.

This lovely place was a great find on Google maps! It serves great selection of Middle Eastern food (Lebanese, Jordanian,…etc) and located in Dublin City center. The place is lovely and well decorated. The staff were really nice and friendly. Middle Eastern music was playing the whole time which gives you a virtual trip to Lebanon. Food was good tbh. That lentil soup is the best I’ve had in my entire life. There’s a great variety of spices in it and it’s served with toasted pita bread. Both my friend and I’s dishes came with rice. The lamb was well cooked but I’d say it’s quite a small portion for Mansaf with lamb shank and yogurt. My friend was not quite full after that, she had to order a starter. Bamya with lamb and rice however was quite filling but not very tasty tbf. Hommus with minced lamb tastes so authentic, I really liked it. I recommend this place and I’d love to try other options on their menu.

Disappointing experience.

We decided to opt for the shared grilled platter (for at least 2 people).

Here's what you receive:

chips (of the frozen kind, so a cheap expense) rice (again, a very cheap expense) bread (again, a very cheap expense) some salad; tomatoes, onions (again, a cheap expense)

But here's the major issue; the very small portion of meat you receive, way too small in comparison to the amount of carbs and cheap sides you receive. The actual part that people want to eat as the core part of their meal. It was way, way too small a portion of meat. What's more is that some of the meat was very, very chewy! Not acceptable at all. The hummus was acceptable.

And all this for almost 50 euros!

It was an actual rip off. Not value for money and sending almost all cheap carbs and sides to make a product look big is not good enough.

I liked some of the other dishes from Rotana in the past but after this experience, I'm now tempted not to bother ordering...
