Great spot for a wedding. Staff are friendly and work hard although manager is a bit of a wagon. Stressing the bride on her wedding day, not good. If there's a problem, speak to the bridal party. It's what they're for. Don't upset a bride 30 seconds after she's just been married. Everything was perfect until that point. Looking at you missus with the curly black hair. And if someone tells you that they didn't receive their meal, don't tell them that they did. They're not looking for seconds. If you're having a bad day, don't take it out on guests.

The rest of the staff were absolutely fantastic and really went out of their way to make sure everything was perfect.

The food was out of this world (serious kudos to the chef) and was a really unusual menu for a wedding (in a good way). The venue even had security on for the wedding while the rest of the venue was closed. Security even stepped in when some undesirables outside started acting up.

The bar and wait staff here were of the highest standard in Dublin. They were good sports when we involved them in the activities and they were trained to make proper cocktails. Fast, efficient and made our night.

Highly recommend, despite the bad apple. That alone says a lot about how great this place is. She didn't...

Really disappointing

I’ve been to this restaurant (and store) many times. Why; because it is relatively high end with good food and a strong service ethos. Got a table for 2 tonight without a reservation and felt lucky. Service was as expected- attentive. Food was ok. At the start of our mains a really large party arrived in who then spent 35 minutes walking around with ever increasing voice levels engaging with each other to the extent that they transformed the restaurant to a quasi market place. This did not go unnoticed by the other diners. So, to the really disappointing bit; at no stage was there any attempt by management to deal with this situation or address the very obvious discomfort of the rest of the restaurant. I pointed this out to our server and noted that it was not her issue but rather an issue for management. The manger came over and said sorry. We observed a number of tables giving the same feedback. When we asked for the bill I noted with the manager that she had not taken the opportunity to acknowledge the situation to which I got the reply “I can’t get people to shut up and sit...

Twice I've been to Fallon & Byrne for lunch and I've yet to walk away disappointed.

I had a two course lunch priced competitively at €23 and it was delicious. Starter was pulled pork and the main was grilled aubergine. I don't drink alcohol and I was pleasantly surprised by the non-alcoholic cocktail menu, which has a nice variety to suit whatever mood you're in.

The staff are incredibly friendly and professional. Each time I've asked for recommendations they've managed to provide one on the spot, including non-alcoholic beverages, and I've not been let down by their opinion.

The atmosphere is more relaxed than the food presentation might suggest, in that the food is presented in many ways you'd expect in restaurants that command a higher price tag but you can walk in with a nice shirt and feel right at home.

I had a two course meal with two non-alcoholic drinks today with the total bill coming to €36 and I felt it was well worth it. For every euro I spent I felt I got ten cent more out of the food in terms of...

An oasis of calm with soft background music, set in old world charm. Reminds me of the 1930's era, bentwood chairs and waitresses in black & white uniforms. Food was gorgeous ! I had a delicious soup & rustic bread to start. The organic chicken in a butternut squash ragu was so tastey, followed by a roasted orange sponge with whiskey cream + malt ice cream, heavenly ! I was enjoying myself so much I only took photos at dessert ! They have a very good menu I'd you don't want meat. See my photos for menus. Lunch menu only 23 euro. Great value & great quality food. Lovely spacious room, with a great view of the iconic high Victorian building opposite. Definitely will go there again.

Went for Sunday lunch. I ordered the cod. It was very nice. Skinless peas, chips. Tbh the tartare sauce was a let down. Small cubes of cucumber 10% and the rest just red onion so quite pungent, unpleasantly so. The atmosphere was nice and calm, but sad music like a requiem was playing, and the sun splitting through the windows with a beautiful day? Mismatch…. The staff were really nice and helpful. I put 4 stars because the easily made tartare sauce was an inexcusable let down. Everything else was lovely as you can see in the photos. It looks like a French brasserie setting 😍 gorgeous. I’ll be back! 😀

Went there for NYE. Food was excellent, however service was a bit funny. We had two waiters and they didn't know what the other one was doing. One brought still water (as ordered) and the other came and topped our glasses up with tap water. One said he would leave the bread there for us and two seconds later the other waiter took it away 😅 One knew we had vegans at the table, the other one brought non-vegan soups for everyone. Not a big deal, can happen on a busy night and shouldn't put you off. They were friendly and accommodating and as said before, food was really good 👌
