Maktus — Local services in Dublin

Fantastic shop, situated in my favourite shopping centre in Dublin City Centre. There is literally nothing Maktus doesn't have. If I had an unlimited gift card, I would buy every single item. My absolute favourite part is the wealth of Irish puns and Pope merch. A little pricey at first glance, but when you compare the cost of products online, including shipping, it works out a lot cheaper to buy here. The location is great, and items are very high quality, so if you're looking for a gift or item to last a long time, buy here instead of online from an unknown seller. :)

Okay - interesting: this one got a lot of good reviews and lotsa stars so far. So, I thought: let's go there, they must have some interesting gifts and gimmicks.

But when I got there: oh no! Not really 'nice' gifts... more the kinda stuff you bring home and present to someone who you really don't know what else nice or useful to bring as a present.

You find mostly the kinda stuff deemed to be funny (only if your alcohol level is high enough) and then ends up catching dust in a place at one's home that isn't too visible.

And: most of the stuff here is far too expensive vs. what you pay for that sorta thing in...
