This was the BEST dining experience we had while in Dublin. 1.) Accommodating - We were a group of 8 (My 2 parents in their 70’s, 3 middle aged adults and 3 kids ranging from 13 to 5 We showed up late, tired, and hungry and they welcomed us in like family 2.) Kind - The kitchen was closing but they took pity on us and made us the most delicious meals while cracking jokes and truly making us feel at home 3.) Delicious - All of the food was amazing!! We had wings for appetizers and then each ordered a different entree….all SO good and then dessert šŸ‘Øā€šŸ³šŸ˜˜ (chefs kiss) I can’t say enough good things about this place Class The staff, the atmosphere, the food….all class We didn’t think to take pictures of all the food but they told us to get behind the bar before we left and took our picture with our Ma Definitely go and enjoy yourself, it’s the best Dublin had to offer (us) at least!!!

The Lincoln’s Inn was the first Irish pub that my husband and I went to last July on our trip to Dublin. We arrived just as the kitchen was about to close, but our server Neil said that he’d see what he could do. We ended up ordering two pints of Guinness (our first in Ireland), fish and chips, and the Irish stew — all of which was delicious! We loved the atmosphere, service, and the whole experience so much that we went back on the last night of our trip for dinner and drinks. We also got the sticky toffee pudding, which is a must order! This year, my husband and I returned to Ireland with a friend, and The Lincoln’s Inn was our first stop, last stop, and a few stops in between. I’m so grateful to the staff for creating such a warm and welcoming environment that makes me want to keep coming back for many years to come.

Lincoln's Inn is a venerable old Dublin restaurant-bar, with a deservedly good reputation for decent food. The atmosphere alone is worth a visit, the pretty wooden panels and painted pillars in the bar area, the old mirrors. Lincoln's Inn website says that the food is insanely good. I wouldn't go that far myself. We had decent bowls of seafood chowder, fish and chips that made the grade without being wonderful, and an Irish stew that did deserve superlatives. It was very well-seasoned, perhaps with a sprig of thyme cooked in the pot and with parsley added at the end. Our wait person could not have been nicer, on top of it all.

I cannot say enough good things about our experience having dinner at Lincoln's Inn. My company was having our annual meeting in Dublin, staying at a hotel nearby. I reached out to Lincoln's Inn ahead of the trip to see if we could bring a group of 15-20 for dinner one evening so that our team could get together before our event. They were super responsive, and when we arrived they had reserved a section of tables for us. We ended up with about 16 of us there!

Our server, Jess, was absolutely fantastic! She explained how she needed to put in our orders and how to expect them to come out (i.e. not everyone's meal would come out at the same time due to our large group - we totally understood!). She was attentive and made sure we had everything we needed, and she was also just a delight to interact with! When we asked her to take a group photo of us, so was happy to assist and even directed some of us to go behind the bar. We had such a great time spending several hours with her!

Finally, the food was terrific! Everyone raved that they enjoyed their meal (we ordered a variety of dishes throughout the group). My husband enjoyed it so much that he returned again later in the week while I was working and had lunch, again served by Jess and enjoying his meal and experience. I wish I had time to eat there again before we left Dublin! This was one of our favorite meals of our 2 weeks in Ireland -...

Had a very bad experience here. Was out having a day too myself, shopping some lunch, and just soaking up the city and its passer byes and decided to stop off here for lunch and a pint. The day was so lovely and sunny on saturday just gone !! Got a table outside. I ordered a pint at the bar and was lucky to get a tall table with stool outside. Next to me, a group of ladies doing the exact same thing as myself. I was finishing my pint and over hear a conversation that the ladies had a tab running and were directed by the person that open the tab to order any drinks required from the member of staff that would wait on them. When i asked if he would take me another pint while he was taking the groups order out to them . He told me that i had to go get it myself. Im do wonder why i was treated differently? It was intimate that i was in second class because i was not spending enough or what ? Had 3 pints enjoyed them. Would i go back. No!! Simple because i dont see why my money didn't afford the same attention or service. I am very disappointed with...

Where do I start!? As soon as I entered the Lincolns inn I was greeted with a smile. The atmosphere is welcoming and warm, the decor takes you back to a simpler time. The smooth creamy Guinness flows effortlessly into the tulip glass. Handed over the counter expertly by a competent barkeep. Allow to settle, sip, bliss. Follow it up with an Irish whiskey? The selection beautifully described by the bartender by the name of daithĆ. The perfect Irish spirit chosen for me based on my preferences. If asked to sum up the Lincolns inn in one word I would answer "impossible" for no one word could describe the Lincolns. It would take a thousand poets a thousand years to accurately describe this tavern.

I will leave you with a quote from the great James Joyce, whose love for the pub was no secret.

"Now, momma said there’s only so much fortune a man really needs, and the rest is just for showing...
