I went to The Sin Bin for pre-drinks and office party. I ordered Mac and cheese bites as starters - which came along with some salad on the side and the dish tasted soooo delicious and fulfilling. The portion size is as good as a main course. I also tried their halloumi tenders, and I'd say they are a good finger snacks, especially with pints. I topped my meal with a gin and tonic, of course. :) For main course, I ordered a chicken burger with chipotle sauce and fries. My tummy felt so full that I could not even eat the burger šŸ”. But it smelt really good!

The Sin Bin was a good experience. They had a fairly limited menu of mostly pub food, burgers and such. But they did have gluten free options for their burgers and the food was fairly good. The service was very friendly and engaging, tho we did have to get their attention a couple of times which given we were one of two groups in there was not ideal. Overall a fine place to grab some food, but perhaps not the best in the area.

We were so glad to accidentally discover this gem! We were looking for a quieter place and normally wouldn't have expected to find it in a pub. It's part of a nice hotel. Very nice and clean place, friendly service. We'll be back

I don’t leave a lot of reviews but I felt compelled to do so after having the misfortune of visiting this place. The bar itself is really visually appealing but I must say I have never encountered a ruder, colder set of staff in all my years.

It was our second bar in Dublin, (with the first one being welcoming, generous and kind) and what a negative impression it left.

We queued at the bar for no less than 20 minutes while it wasn’t that busy. The bar staff decided for whatever reason that we were not worth serving to the point that people who were stranding behind us in the queue moved to another section of the bar and were served instantly. In what is a very out of character move for us we felt we had to say something as they consistently ignored us and once they started serving maybe the tenth person who was clearly after us at the bar. A youngish black guy eventually served us as we said ā€œwe’ve been standing her for 20 minutes and we were here long before these peopleā€ and I have to say he was the rudest most unpleasant person I’ve ever had serve me a drink. He looked at us as if we were nothing and as if it was a chore to serve us a drink.

As someone who has managed people for more than 15 years I have to say that I would be ashamed if any of my team members ever acted like this with our customers. This was a disgustingly poor level of customer service provided by these people. If they hate customers so much there should really be a question asked as to why they work in customer facing roles.

Finally I need to point out that we were completely sober, well dressed and respectful group and this really put a downer on our day - having felt looked down upon and disrespected.

My final message is that if you see us please do not support this business until they completely revamp their approach to the people who want to spend their hard money in their premises.

An utterly...

My wife and I were staying at The Mont, the hotel The Sin Bin is in, so we popped in our first night in Dublin for a night cap. We loved it so much that we found ourselves there each night for the entirety of the trip. The staff was absolutely top tier! You'll be well taken care of by Georgia, Steph, Stephen, and Wes who are attentive and make any night spent there a great time whether you're there for one drink or find yourself there for a few hours! We didn't get any food any of those nights, but it looked and smelled delicious, but we can say that they make some incredible cocktails. Can't recommend it enough! We'll definitely be back here any time...
