We were a group of 9 that visited Zakura on Lower Baggot street over the lunch rush hour. We had booked in advance, and luckily so, since when we left, there was a queue waiting to be seated. The food was excellent, and everyone at the table was very happy with their orders. We shared some excellent sushi platters, and some folks had poke bowls, the vegetable tempura, the pork gyoza and prawn gyoza. The pork gyoza was particularly tasty. I'll happily return for such good sushi and gyoza. Service was a bit scattered, but I blame that on the very busy hour. Everyone was very helpful and friendly. They didn't miss anything, but we had to take one dish as takeaway since it took too long to arrive, but in fairness it was ordered after all our other dishes...

Stopping off in Dublin for a night with work, I just wanted a hearty bowl of ramen before bedding down for the night and was so fortunate to stumble across Zakura.

The unassuming facade opens into a quite traditional Japanese sushi/ramen bar, buzzing with chatter from the many folks who clearly know and love it. Plates of gyoza, sushi and kara age looked tempting, as did the sizzling donburi bowls, but in the end I stuck with kimchee chicken ramen and it was absolutely delicious. The broth flavourful and salty (in the best way), the chicken tender, the noodles cooked to perfection.

Service also excellent, from the warm welcome to the frequent checking in. I'd absolutely return if I found myself staying in...

Probably my favorite Japanese restaurant in Dublin right now (yes, it's not fully authentic, but it's trying to be close to that). Service is impeccable, you truly feel you have their full attention. You get a glass of water with lemon as soon as you sit down your the table - this is really nice. The menu is extensive and you'll find all the usual dishes there and some nice surprises. Desserts are amazing, especially the matcha cake. One highlight for me is the two types (veggie and non-veggie) of bento boxes every day - and these vary every day, Monday to Friday, and are always different, healthy and tasty. You get miso soup as well, all for 10.50. A perfect lunch - I wish I had a Zakura...

Went he several times and also ordered from Deliveroo several times, still my top choice for sushi. Great flavors, great quality and they have variety in the menu, especially if you dine in. As they have various menu of cocktails, which are not available for delivery. My favorite menu are Ebi tempura maki and Salmon avocado creamcheese maki. The only thing that could be improved would be the matcha latte, I went there 2 days ago and it tasted very different to their usual matcha latte. The matcha powder was very overpowering that it became purely bitter & the powder is thick like paste :(

My favorite restaurant of all Dublin. This is a brand new place, the decors are fantastic! It feels like we are immersed in a typical asian restaurant. The music is also nice, I feel relaxed. I love the employees there you guys are so helpful. I feel in a 5 stars restaurant. I have no words to describe the food, it is so tasty, delicious , the perfection. When I come with my friends they always tell me they want to come back. Thank youuuuuu so much keep the hard work. I hope I'll be back for the 4th time pretty soon 😎
