We waited 55 minutes to have our main course. Octopus and monkfish. For the price 28€/dish, we were expecting a good portion with octopus and fish. It is mainly rice and sauce with 3 miserable piece of fish and 3 prawns, for the octopus better not to say anything. There were one person cooking and one person serving they were overwhelmed. We went to this restaurant because of the comments and pictures but finally the pictures of the plates are not at all what is in the reel menu once in the restaurant. The taste is not bad but it is not waw neither. So expect rice and sauce with 2 or 3 octopus or fish. I don’t e omens specially that in the town there is many restaurant well noted and well served. Ps: I don’t reply usually to manager response but I want to precise for you that eating only burger is not my best when I say other restaurant that serve good home cooked plates has the same price and better served…... And waiting 55 min…. best of luck for your business. Attached some photos from other restaurant in Galway home cooked plates the bill was the same as in your restaurant but we have appetizers and main course and drink….. don’t get me wrong please. Best of luck for you and your clients but this is my opinion

A culinary gem in Galway A visit to this restaurant is a truly unmissable experience. The cuisine is a mix of innovation and tradition, with dishes that enhance the quality and authenticity of the ingredients. Every bite is a true delight for the palate, thanks to flavors and aromas that enchant the senses. The owners, a husband and wife couple, run the place with passion and dedication, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The service is exceptional: attentive, kind, and full of care. You can feel a sincere love for cooking and hospitality, which makes every meal unforgettable. The menu offers a wide choice, from classic dishes to more unique specialties, such as the influences of Portuguese and Brazilian cuisine. The pairing with an excellent selection of wines makes the experience even more complete. Don't hesitate to try the rib of beef, which stands out for its tenderness and flavor. This is a place that surprises and wins you over, leaving you wanting to come back. If you are in Galway, don't miss the opportunity to discover this rare gem, where the passion for food and the care for the customer merge into an extraordinary culinary experience. Ivan & Lu

Lovely from start to finish. We began with the morcela appetizer, which included marinated apples and red onion and was spectacular. I had the Moqueca fish stew served with rice; so many complex yet balanced flavors, including coconut milk and chili/coriander, that made it absolutely so delicious. My husband had the duck leg, and again, it was the blend of so many different flavors that made it so wonderful. We each had a glass of the 2021 red wine from Douro that they recommended, which was great. The restaurant space itself probably accommodates 30-35 and is cozy without feeling crowded. Our waitress was (I presume) the owner, and she was so incredibly kind and inviting. Definitely check this place out!

If I could give this place 10 stars I would. My husband and I are in Galway for a few days and needed a break from fish and chips, and I found this place on Google Maps and we went on a whim. We both had house red wine and we shared the pork belly main, the goat cheese app, and the sausage app. My husband ordered Amarguinha (Portuguese almond liqueur) to cap it all off and OMG EVERYTHING WAS INCREDIBLE. I don’t know if I have ever had a better meal. This place deserves a Michelin star. It’s a small, family-run place, and the owner took our order and made our food. EAT HERE. Don’t hesitate. Quick - before it’s on all the guide books and you can’t get in! You won’t regret it. Support this...
