CLASSICO PIZZA & PASTA — Restaurant in Galway

The ultimate hidden gem of a restaurant in Galway! This wonderful bistro has excellent service and a variety of delicious menu items. The portions are quite large while the prices are half compared to other restaurants in this large touristy area. We found it by accident and so happy we did! It was one of the only places serving food after 9pm next to the Park Hotel. We had the traditional Irish roast lamb dinner, goat cheese with mixed salad and the mixed chicken and lamb kebabs. Wow, this delicious pizza was an order on a whim, while on vacation; We ordered because we were looking for a hot meal, it was close to our hotel...we were both very pleasantly surprised! I called ahead, because I had a quick ingredient question... I felt accommodated with my query, and I was grateful for their patience. If I could give 0 stars I would, I asked for an iced coffee which first she puts ice in then adds hot water to melt the ice ? ? ? Afterwards poured an expresso on top and handed me an open cup of water basically with no lid attached and hands me a lid separate so after fiddling with the cup trying to get the lid to fit I ask her if it's the right size lid and am told she doesn't have the right sized lid. I paid and left. Will NOT be back.. worst service in Galway.. wait in line at jungle café or don't bother.. ☕👎...
