Don’t recommend you step foot in this place, literally! Their wooden floors weren’t maintained, so slippery that I slipped twice and sprained both ankles, a knee and lower back. Bathrooms were dirty with fallen hairs, TP on the floor, broken soap dispensers, water everywhere and no napkins It was also worst steak grade that I’ve ever got close to in my life; how would I trust them choosing good steak and cooking it proper when they can’t even make hummus, as simple as that starter is. They didn’t refill the water mid meal when it was the only thing cleansing my palate and saving me from chocking on the couple bites I took from the steak. The manager didn’t bother to come by and address my polite feedback for the meal. Even burger joints are far more accommodating than them. Their waitress was too rushed, sweaty and had shuffled hair although 3/4 of the tables were empty at peak dinner time on a weekend (which says enough) i’d assume they’re payed too little and assigned too many tables hence they were unable to bother with customer satisfaction. Their decor is weird, the ceiling seems cheep and their badly drawn art on the walls makes it look even tackier, don’t even get me started on the music, this is my 4th visit and not once their music was on point. At least the Christmas tree looked half decent? Our corporation has some international business dinners here I’ll ensure none of them have as horrible and physically harmful experience as I did. Ruined my weekend and on top of it I might miss work for a week due to the injury. I hope they inspect the place as I can’t imagine to be the only person that was injured recently in their establishment. Wouldn’t wish such experience on my worst enemy.

It’s also a restaurant and hotel. The Hyde’s interior features a dazzling array of glass walls, colorful murals, plants - in our breakfast nook, approximately 100 roses are suspended upside down from the ceiling - bare brick and mirrors. Green is the predominant color, with liberal doses of chartreuse thrown in. Whoever decorated the Hyde deserves a prize and the place deserves your patronage for the decor alone. Music is carefully curated and features a light and ambient sound that contributes to the unique, ethereal atmosphere. We had breakfast and dinner here. We ordered: 4*Vegetarian Breakfast included grilled tomato, mushroom, beans, scrambled egg, sliced potato, and toast: everything was good, especially mushrooms. 4*Creamy porridge: Scrambled eggs with strawberries, toast, and smoked salmon: excellent. 3*Sautéed Broccoli & Spinach Toasted Almonds: served with lots of butter. 3*Tortellini of Ricotta & Spinach included tomato ragout, parmigiana, rocket salad: the tortellini filling was cheesy. Tomato sauce and spinach were filling and tasty. 4*Grilled Goats Cheese Salad-honey, roasted walnut, beetroot, apple balsamic: pretty good salad, just right.

Came with friends for breakfast and I know it could be annoying to get customers with lots of bags (we just came back from a trip) but the place was empty so plenty of room and it shouldn’t have been a problem, anyway the waiter was really cocky both when we asked for a table (nobody in reception and we waited for it but since nobody came in we had to ask at the bar) and specially when he took our order Food and price were ok and at least the rest of the staff, the people who brought our food, were all super nice. However I was shocked when I went to the bathroom and realised there’s a camera above the urinals and, not only that, one of the toilets was out of place (attaching photo) like literally sideways in the cubicle, unbelievable. We’ll never be back in any Hyde bar or hotel

The worst dining experience I've had in years and I am very disappointed with both the food and service at Hyde Bar last Saturday evening. I made a reservation after multiple people recommended the restaurant for drinks and dinner in celebration of my birthday. The evening started well with a great atmosphere and our first drinks came fairly quickly and we ordered food but after that interaction with staff we were largely ignored. I flagged down a server to ask for a wine menu before our food came but after at least 15 minutes no one came to take our second drinks order. Our food came out and was slammed down in front of us half off the table and the server left without saying a word. We flagged down another server to take our drinks order but at that point it was too late for wine as the food had arrived. We ordered cocktails which arrived 15+ minutes later. We tucked into our food which was nothing more than what I could cook at home; boiled vegetables, dry chicken, flavourless steak and sauces missing from 2/3 dishes. For 27 euro I would expect my steak to have been seasoned with at least salt and pepper, be evenly cooked, and not contain mostly fatty/hard bits. I ate 2 bites desperately looking for salt and pepper but none to be found so as our second drinks were delivered to our table, I asked the bar server for the salt and pepper. He returned with the shaker and again slammed it down on the edge of the table and left without a word. No restaurant staff came to check on us for the rest of the night. By the time a server was close enough to flag down to ask for the bill, our food was cold and largely uneaten. The server did not ask us how the meal was or anything at all which I expected by that point. Overall I would avoid this restaurant and would return only to sit at the bar for drinks where it is easier to get the...

Delicious food and nice atmosphere. We ate here 2 days in a row as we were VERY impressed by the service and the food on the first day. The second day??? Not the same experience.

We were greeted and seated with a warm welcome and smile (kudos). However, once we were seated, the service went downhill. After sitting for 10 minutes and watching other servers work the tables around us, I asked one of them who was working our table and was told by a waiter that she'd get someone. A couple minutes later, the person responsible for our section came out and walked past our table to the table next to us, who had only been sitting for a couple minutes. The guests next to us were courteous enough to mention we were there first. The server then came back over to our table, but not before saying "I'll still take both orders anyway."

After taking our order, she returned to the table next to us and apologised for the delay in taking their order. Perhaps she was a bit salty because a coworker had to get her to return to her section, perhaps she was having a bad day, in any event, her body language and demeanour bordered on hostile for the rest of the time we were there. At one point, another server even rolled her eyes at us because we asked a second time for something they had forgotten to bring us!

While I appreciate the fact that we were there at one of the peak times, and waiting tables is NOT an easy job, it's not the customer's fault if there isn't enough staff or if someone doesn't work well under pressure. Overall, I would recommend this place for a great breakfast, but the service is clearly...
