WYLDE — Restaurant in Galway

The other day I went in for a quick take away for a bite to eat and it was only a few minutes before closing time. I was very lucky to be looked after by Mustafa(I believe his name is) and I was sincerely impressed by his maner, kindness and availability to put together 2 great rolls for me. He was pleasantly chatty, very attentive at my food requests and extremely kind. I was keen to try a few things, but didn't know what to really choose and he was beyond kind to give me a personalised food bowl that I paid nothing extra for. He went above and beyond to make sure he explained to me all the different aromas and spices in detail and made it so easier for me to pick and choose and he was genuinely one of the nicest people I had met in both Hyde bar and Wylde. I enjoyed a delicious custom made salad bowl full of fresh ingredients and delicious flavours on my last day in Galway before I got on the coach to head back to Dublin. I'm so glad this lovely spot was so close to the coach station, allowing me to nourish myself with delicious and nutritious food made with love and care before I left. For the road I also brought a matcha chia seed pudding topped with granola and the sweetest raspberries and strawberries I have tried in a very long time. Thank you so much for the great service also. The inside had a lovely ambience, comfortable seating and chill music playing. We got a €5,99 Too Good to Go box (app against food waste). We were really disappointed by the quality of the products, not expecting it from how highly this is rated on gmaps.

We received: 2x Blueberry oatcakes - no flavour whatsoever, stodgy, completely useless Pau au choc - ok, tasted the same quality as Lidl bakery Croissant - normal Danish - we have no idea what flavour it was. Raspberry jam and linen seeds? Flavour forgettable and the bottom was not cooked. 3 sausage roll - horrible. Anemic, bottom not cooked, we can't even tell if they were vegan or they just didn't taste of meat. We couldn't finish them at all.
