Darcy Bar is great! The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, with a lot of local charm. The crowd is a fun mix of friendly locals and sweet older folks who make it even better. There's always lots of laughter and good conversations. The pints are top-notch, and the overall vibe is just awesome. Definitely recommend for a genuine local hangout!

An absolute gem of a pub, right on the corner of Eyre Square. Fantastic Guinness and wonderful, friendly, chatty staff. A good place to watch a match - heaving for both soccer and rugby, and a wonderful atmosphere. Authentic Irish pub, I could have stayed here all day and night. I'll be back!!!

Absolutely disgusted with Darcy's Bar. Went over 2 hours before the lions game. Only outside seating due to covid restrictions. All seating was full. I asked if we can be next in line for seating and the barman said no. Its first come first served. We waited and waited. 1 hour and 15 minutes later a table opened up. And we sat down. It was only me and my son. But 2 more to follow. They refused to serve us as i had my son with me and asked for us to leave. It was 5 o clock on a Saturday afternoon. If i can give zero stars i will. Wouldn't recommend this place at all. And as you can see the manager parked on a double yellow line as well. His name is John Macgee as he said. Couldn't find anywhere else so went to the Porterhouse on Oranmore. What a contrast. They couldn't be more helpful. 5+ stars for...

Went here in the afternoon for a drink with my wife. We were in Galway for a few days. What a Great welcome we got from John , the barman on duty. I had a Nice pint of Guinness and my wife had a cocktail which John made with perfection 👌🏻 (Mango Martin) There were other customers there which John was having a bit of craic with and of course we were included. We ended up staying for a couple more drinks. More people came in and there was a lovely atmosphere. Highly recommend a visit day or evening. 10/10...

Went to Darceys last night, or should I say tried to go here last night!!!!! I got in the que , came my turn at the door and when I asked the bouncer for a table for 2, he then replied to me that there was a good few tables inside but couldn’t let us sit at them as we were only a party of TWO. And turned us away. What an absolute JOKE. I will not be recommending this establishment to anybody as they are just down...
