I recently had an absolutely fantastic dining experience at the Eastern Tandoori restaurant. From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was welcoming and inviting. The decor was warm and cozy, with beautiful accents and soft lighting that created a relaxing ambiance.
The service was top-notch, with the waitstaff being attentive and courteous throughout the meal. They were happy to answer our questions about the menu and offer recommendations based on our preferences.
But the real highlight of the evening was the food. We tried a few different dishes, including chilli garlic chicken, Laal mass, Chicken biryani, Chicken Patala. Each dish was bursting with flavor and perfectly spiced, with a complexity of flavors that kept us coming back for more.
The naan bread was freshly baked and piping hot, and the rice was perfectly cooked and fluffy. My personal favourite dish was Laal mass with Afghani naan, a perfect combination of soft sweet bread with spiced dish.
Overall, the entire dining experience was outstanding. The food, service, and atmosphere all exceeded our expectations, and we left feeling completely satisfied and happy. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a delicious and authentic Indian dining experience. Must visit...
Read moreNew year's Eve dinner with friends. Big group of us. Our main waiter was very professional and went beyond expectations when it came to attentiveness and remembering our individual preferences for ingredients, making suggestions at later points based on an earlier request. The food itself was very good. I was glad to have skipped the starter as my main was huge. Chicken bhuna, pilau rice and shared a garlic and coriander naan. Nice Indian decor, art and statues.
So why 2 stars off? One of the other waiters was not good. He banged dishes on the table and spoke rudely. And if you're budgeting be careful of surprise charges. I asked for a portion of raita (yoghurt, cucumber) and instead of a little ramekin like other people got, I was presented with an ice cream glass of it. The fanciness was nice but overdone, and being charged €4.50 for the bit of yoghurt I asked for was excessive. While it's nice for a place to be warm and cozy, this place was a few degrees too much. Also the toilet cubicles are carpeted. Feels...
Read moreI went there with my wife and 2 year old kid. The staff was not fully trained and humiliating as well. I asked the staff to not put any chilli in Daal Tadka, so that my kid can eat Daal with the roti. When Daal arrived, it had green chilly and my kid couldn’t eat it. When I complained to the staff about this, then the staff says in clear words - “restaurants are not like home, you can not customise the food in restaurants.” I found this sentence very humiliating as indirectly it meant that you should not come to restaurant if you want to customise. I never experienced such behaviour in any restaurant before this. Also when full order arrived for us, the staff only provided one plate to eat roti. I tried to nudge the staff to ask for another plate, but nobody was ready to hear. Then I had to go to the counter and ask for our second plate. I would highly recommend to avoid this restaurant because or staff behaviour. I don’t have any complaints about food...
