I went to this place for dinner with some friends and we had a good time, there were 6 of us, the service was a bit slow at first but then it improved, the food is good and the coffee too. The bad thing was that when it was time to pay we wanted to ask for the 10% discount for students which is on ALL the menus at the bottom of them. First I told a waitress who was not the one serving us that we wanted to pay with the discount and she just told me that she could not apply it, when I asked her why, she kept mentioning that she was not going to apply it, turned away and left me talking to myself, showing no interest in what I was saying. In the end the girl who was attending us arrived, I think she was the person in charge I’m not sure if she is the manager and tried to explain to us that it was something that the owners had decided to put back on the menus but that they were not allowed to apply it, due to a blockage in the payment system, so we told her that it was a lie just to lure people with deception and she only said she was sorry but that she could not apply it. The problem was not that we did not receive the discount, but the attitude of the first waitress and the lack of a logical response to something that is on the menu and that in the...

A real hidden treasure in Galway! Really i don't know from where to start! The place so atmospheric, the food amazing! You really can't imagine how much the waiter Marco helped us to make dishes to fit our alergies. He was so happy to help us like the shop was his shop. I didn't feel neither a second that he is bothered or annoyed even when we came late to ask for table they accomodate us without to think that is late and they want to go home. They stayed even longer so to finish our dinner. Overall an amazing experience although i don't use to try other kitchens apart european but everything were closed so we tried this one and i feel so lucky about that! Of course Marco's accomodation was an advantage to leave with the best impressions! Congratulations to Galway for this little Diamond and more congratulations to this restaurant for its employees, for their kindness, professionalism and accomodation.I use to try restaurants around Europe and i know very well that this is definitely not common!Thank...

We visited Morocco a few months ago and I've loved Moroccan food ever since, especially because I can't eat anything even remotely spicy and Moroccan dishes are not spicy at all. Except at this particular restaurant. I ordered chicken tagine (which was not as tender and delicious as a real tagine should be, but was definitely overpriced for its quality and size), which sadly had some pretty spicy paprika paste on it (without any mention of this on the menu), making it impossible for me to eat more than a bite. When we wanted to send it back, the waitress simply said no, because the spicy was "only on the top"... I only sent back maybe like 3 dishes in my life, but never did I receive such a disappointing attitude. The mint tea was also way overpriced for the tiny amount it was and it was so bitter we had to water it down. Would not recommend this place to anyone who loves authentic Moroccan cuisine or decent...

Ended up at this spot due to everywhere else having no available tables but I am so impressed with the quality of food. This spot would be a little hard to find as it is up stairs to get to but the food is worth it. I ordered the lamb tangine with couscous and I could not believe how good the lamb was. Even the veggies it came with and couscous were delicious. I also tried the chicken skewers and was pleasantly surprised to find that it can with two sticks stocked full of chicken. The veggies that came with that were also amazing. The chicken skewer came with pita bread too. I had no room left for it after having a huge portion of lamb tangine but my party all agreed it was very good. Heads up that they do not serve alcohol. They do allow you to get a bottle or glass at the place downstairs and bring it up which was easy to do.

So happy to have found this place! I ordered the vegetarian tagine (a stew like) with pita bread. OMG, their pita bread is delicious (5/5), the stew was ok (3/5). It is a big portion for one person but I ate it all The 5 starts are thanks to Marcos, he is very nice and took the time to listened my needs and provide recommendations They just have a new website to order delivery and pickup. If you do takeaway, they give you discounts and if you do delivery, they get 100% of the profits (not like the other services that takes a %). So, order from their website to support them! My pictures are not the best but I assured you, it was delicious!

While I think the food here is nice, I have deep concerns about whoever prepares the food for delivery. I think they shouldn't be allowed near hot food or anything too complicated for them, like spoons. This is at least the second time we order where entire parts are just straight missing. We ordered 3 items, couscous vegetable, couscous isn't probably sealed so it spilled and pierced the bag. The second item was lamb Kofta and rice, the lamb was missing, 17€ for boiled rice is a bit steep. The last item was apple tart, so naturally, you send chocolate cake. Great work. Keep it up.
