The Chili Shack Galway — Restaurant in Galway

Really tasty burger! Delicious chili (I had Irish style fries). Price is a bit high IMO but comparable with the local places. No tap beer -- all canned.

About my pic: that's fries, Irish style chili, cheese, pickled jalapenos, Chipotle mayo, chili flake and cilantro (coriander), and a like wedge!

Four stars because of the (1) price, and (2) slow service. Staff was really friendly. But it did take nearly 20 full minutes to get my food (burger, fries with chili and beer). The restaurant wasn't slammed or anything either. I would definitely eat here again and recommend it to others. Slightly younger, slightly harder crowd but don't let it discourage you!! Even you Grandma!! Get that tasty...

I love Chili Shack. It's simple but delicious. I don't usually get their burgers as they don't have in my opinion the same level of taste as other places in Galway so similar price points.

However absolutely everything else is divine. They do really good chips, paprika coated I think. Their Poutine is great. Tex mex worth the extra price. Recently they put in a Vegetarian version with caramelized onions and mushrooms and I have to say, it's really really good. The chili hotdog is also good.

Absolute worst. Made an order on a Tuesday afternoon, order never arrived but still said on JustEat that it was delivered. Driver went to wrong address (that was a vacant house) and never bothered to call to double check, even though we were just around the corner. Was able to get a refund through JustEat, but when calling the restaurant to find out what happened multiple times not one answer. Do not recommend.
