Solo Pizza — Restaurant in Limerick

Received a call that the driver was outside, perfect I'll go out so. Head outside and no one is to be seen, thought it's fine they might have preemptively called me to make sure I don't have them waiting.. twenty minutes later, three calls to the driver unanswered, one to the shop unanswered and then finally the shop answers. I'm welcomed to accusations that I wasn't outside and that the driver was waiting for twenty minutes, that the driver had called me multiple times and that I didn't answer. It was barely 2 degrees outside and my toes were going numb at that stage because I had in fact waited outside in my Pjs so they could see me. I told them that I left instructions in the 'instructions for the driver's' text box and also had my full clear address, street name and everything in it but was somehow told by them I didn't? I had my boyfriend call me to make sure I was receiving calls in the case that maybe the driver did try to call me, but nope. Boyfriend got through to me immediately. On the call with the shop guy I was told he would have to call the driver and get back to me, I said fine. Took over thirty minutes to get a call back from them, four actually so ya they had no problem getting through to me. By that stage I had already contacted deliveroo and gotten a refund and asked for the order to be cancelled so I don't know why they were trying to contact me after that. Deleted and blocked the numbers because I knew if I had answered the calls I'd have been given abuse by them and I'm not taking that for their own mistakes. I've been in customer care for years and am in absolute awe of how shocking that service was. This is by far one of the worst experiences I have ever had with anything like this. So ya cheap pizza, tastes good when it arrives but only if it does and be prepared to have to defend your honour if you try to contact them. 10/10 would...

I have been ordering from solo pizza since they opened and have noticed that the standard of food I have been getting through delivery isn't great recently. Food that I ordered always arrive soggy & not in best condition and recently forgetting items that I had ordered or given to another customer by mistake. There seems to be one standard for collection and another for delivery as when I get a takeaway it's always perfect. Food purchased for collection or delivery should be cooked to the same standard no matter who prepares it for...

Ordered food this evening at 5pm to be delivered, at 5.50pm no sign of food so we rang to be told there was no delivery driver available even though they start at 5pm, another 20 mins pass and we ring again to be told driver was on the way, The food came it was like something that was cooked 12hrs previously, pizza was cold and soggy, chips had been cooked with fish of some sort, and the burger was slopped together with sauce wasn't even edible, hadn't ordered from here in a while and now I know why, won't be ordering here...
