First and last time customers. Husband and I went there for Valentine's weekend. Got an Aperol spritz that tasted flat and off so sent it back after one sip. They were fine to offer a new drink instead, lovely. Shared a starter which was gorgeous. I suspected the sweet potato was microwaved but everything else tasted fresh. The mains were a huge let down. Husband ordered rare ribeye which was blue. Never seen him struggle with a steak. I ordered chef bang bang chicken. Menu said veg, rice, chicken with chef's special sauce. Little to no veg if you exclude two large bulk choy stalks. Dish was clearly microwaved as chicken was hard and tough to cut and sauce was scalding. Way too much sauce, rice was nearly floating in it. My local Chinese takeaway would have been fresher and they put more veg in it for only around 10 euros- Olive Tree Restaurant charged over 19 euros. Pavalova was just stiff meringue but the canoli was nice with an espresso. Such a let down with the mains. I have no idea who our server was as we seemed to have 3 at one point. So we were asked about ordering drinks twice, ordering food twice and desserts twice, not to mention the numerous times we were asked if we were okay. If it was one server, it would have been great service but it was hard to hold a conversation going being constantly interrupted. On Valentine's weekend no less. Very annoying. I overheard that it used to be Rossi's which I remember being to once. Completely forgot about it because it was a one and done as well. Same ownership but rebranded- still...

We were really looking forward to dinner here with friends, but halfway into our meal we found a nail or screw in pasta, manager initially apologetic and friendly, but after handing us the bill they dismissed it and pretended it wasn’t as big a deal as it was. they replaced the meal (getting the order wrong) and acted as if that was more than enough to compensate. When we got the bill we noticed a drink had been taken off, and that was their big friendly gesture to say sorry. We politely told her that it wasn’t enough and she became very defensive, and when we tried to stand up for ourselves she tried arguing back at us, very unprofessional. While we were just explaining that a free drink was not enough to compensate a nail or screw in a meal, the manager was completely trying to downplay the situation and make it seem like we were being unreasonable. Eventually she said something along the lines of ‘whatever, I don’t have time for this’ (despite the restaurant being very quiet) and charged us for a kids pasta instead of an adults pasta. Still not enough and disgraceful behaviour from the manager, which is why I felt the need to write this. Serious health and safety concerns and downplaying of it, and very rude manager. Will not be returning, do not recommend in...

There were three of us in our party, and we all felt the same experience. The food was very, very good, full of flavor. We had several tapas and a Caesar salad, and my husband had the pork belly. Unfortunately, the service was very much lacking. After placing our order, we waited and waited for our wine. Finally, our food arrived, and still no wine. We also asked for one of the sides to be served on the side, that was unfortunately completely omitted and we had to ask for it to be brought to the table. We then were wanting additional glasses of wine, but nobody ever came to our table to check on us. In addition, we sat at our table for probably 20 minutes with dirty dishes and empty wine glasses just waiting to be noticed. Finally, feeling frustrated at this point, we asked for the check so that we could leave. That didn’t come either. We finally had to ask twice for that and we’re told to pay up at the register. When I told the manager about what happened he wasn’t apologetic at all. We were very disappointed as we would have liked to go back because the food was so good, however, we probably will not return because the service was...

Wow, Wow, Wow!!! Last night we had the tasting menu for the Flavours of Limerick culinary event, and it was just fantastic. Each course was designed to have a Limerick Latin twist which was the theme of the night. The wines were expertly paired with each course and there was and explanation of this as you recorded each glass. The chef also came to explain the components of each dish which was a highlight of the evening. Our favourite dish was the first course. Every element of the taco was bursting with flavour. But there has to be a mention for the ribeye which was cooked (medium rare) to perfection. We forgot to take a picture of desert as we dived in once it was explained to us. The atmosphere was buzzing with all tables full and the DJ setting the scene. The music was never too loud but was a great addition. The whole experience was excellent value at €60 pp. If this was on every month I would come.

My wife and I stopped in for dinner. We were seated immediately. The atmosphere was lively and the staff treated us well. We started with a bottle of Riesling. They didn't have the Riesling on the menu, however the Riesling they did have was excellent. My wife ordered the Goat Cheese Salad and Carbonara. She loved the salad but thought the Carbonara was basic but enjoyable. I ordered a Caesar Salad and Alfredo. They both were great! For dessert we ordered Sticky Toffee Pudding and Cookie & ice cream. The Sticky Toffee Pudding had a weird taste, the flavor was off. The Cookie & Ice cream were simple but very enjoyable. The cookie was fresh soft and gooey. We recommend stopping in to Rossi's if you desire Italian food while in Limerick!

We made reservations for an anniversary dinner and had a lovely, quiet table in a corner by the window. We loved the decor, it seems higher end aesthetic wise. The service was great. We had 3 different servers who were all attentive and friendly and professional. Food was great, somewhat Greek or middle eastern ish. A nice appetizer of hummus , baba ganoush with freshly made pitas. Wine was lovely as were the stemware, it makes a big difference. Dinner was pork belly and seafood risotto, both excellent 👌 They even offered us a little treat of corn on a stick with a nice spice on them. A+++ 5 star. Oh yes and the restrooms were very clean, always a good sign. Loved it.
