I absolutely LOVED this place! We arrived without previous booking. The place was so busy we actually thought we were going to be sent away. But the waiter (I'm so sorry I cannot remember the name!!) greeted us and made us feel at home. He found for us a beautiful table, in a nice and comfortable seat, and brought us a high chair for my 1 year old daughter, who was tired, after a very long day of visiting the area, and a little cranky. He immediately made Phoebe feel comfortable, brought her pencils and a paper to draw on, and got her to smile and relax instantly! It was like they could understand each other! We were served amazing food, my favourite was my daughter's dish!! A creamy homemade soup with lentils and tomato.. delicious! I'm a chocolate lover (at the very least, an enthusiast..)and I had one bite, didn't know the price till when we paid.. Was not a nice chocolate cake, my daughter didn't eat it, I didn't eat it and nor did my wife (we had bought 3,and all 3 were as bad as each other)... On the other hand the chocolate and orange cake was rather good! My wife also tells me the coffee was good too. So after spending 24 euros on chocolate cake, I was not impressed. We came for lunchtime and ordered the chips,caramel brownie,lemon drizzle scone and some tea’s
The chips were lovely and fresh as well as the brownie but the scone I felt was a little stale like it was baked the day before or a couple days before,large variety of teas.
Will definitely be back soon...
