SABURRITOS KILKENNY — Restaurant in The Municipal District of Kilkenny City

Not a good experience at all to be honest and i’m not a picky person when it comes to eating out. Firstly, they wouldn’t accept my student card which is like whatever fine. Gave me about 2 beans in my burrito bowl and a sliver of lettuce. Charged a euro extra for vegetables and it wasn’t even worth it because they were slimy and the falafel was cold and the guacamole (which they also charged extra for) tasted like it came straight out of a bag, price did not reflect the product at all whatsoever, it was also tiny (i paid €12.40). The pico de gallo had capers in it?!? Not very authentic in my opinion. Was overall kind of flavourless and mushy. at least if they had hot sauce on the tables it would have made the experience a bit better but they don’t. i don’t mind the apathetic service vibe because people working in hospitality don’t get paid enough to deal with people and that’s ok so i have no complaints about the service. Arrived on St Patrick's Day before the parade. Three adults wanting to eat, one a student. They advertised a student meal deal and ordered the burrito. When we produced the student id we were turned down as they said that it's only valid during school time, today's a bank holiday so no offer. Had to pay twice as much for the burrito and drink, which I wouldn't have got if the offer was advertised properly. The offer was for monday to friday, midday to 6pm. We also ordered two burrito bowls that were lukewarm, sour cream was very watery and minimal and by beef was very dry. Overall the food for the three of us was tasteless and we won't be back. €44.50 for 1 burrito, 2 burrito bowls and 2 mexican colas that were shockingly expensive...

I visited this place, yesterday, I was with my big sister and my parents. At first, the food looked good, my mother and my sister ordered a quesadilla, the first was with marinated chicken, garlic sauce and cheese, the other was with chicken tikka and same things. I ordered tacos with cheese, lettuce and marinated chicken (again), the chicken was too much spicy for us, and we hadn't ordered sodas because they were very expensive, The worst thing is that you had to pay 4 Euros to access the services!!
