*PLEASE READ 🙏 * I’m Irish and I’ve been to bars from Oranmore to Jakarta. To skip this pub would be sanctimonious. Let me start with the black stuff…one of the best foreign stout I’ve ever sank, I drank five just to make sure and I was right. Why don’t more people go here? I have no idea. It’s the oldest pub in stunning Alghero and I feel people don’t appreciate this fact. It’s a cozy interior with character and personality. Speaking about character, the guys behind the bar are charismatic, charming and considerate. We had some craic with them, their music taste is impeccable and their amiable nature is a reason alone to go here. To trade cultures, traditions and thoughts with the people in this bar is enough to go here for a bottle of water. Stop reading and come here and order a Guinness…...

Shocking service, no Heineken for an Ireland rugby World cup game. One beer on draught in a plastic glass for €7. Paid €4 nearby. 3 staff to pour one pint and looking petrified for the next order. Card machine not working which people didn't mind. Just make a quick sign "Cash Only" and get on with it. Terrible attitude when you finally did get their attention. Will never set foot in the place again. Worst pub I've ever been in! Fawlty towers is a 5*...

Great find :) lore, max and roberto were great! We really wanted to watch a URC rugby game which they could show on TG4 in their downstairs area (and opened early for us) if you want to watch something go chat to them! Lore has just taken over the bar and is very friendly and approachable and will do his best to help! Good Guinness (I’m told), good range of reasonably priced drinks! Definitely recommend!
