My partner and I had one of the worst dining experiences we've ever had at Gran Caffe. We ordered the carbonara and gnocchi—both were incredibly bland and completely lacking in flavour. To make matters worse, both dishes contained multiple eggshells, and I even found a hair in mine.
We asked for butter with our bread, which was forgotten. When we later asked another staff member for oil and vinegar, they bizarrely only brought vinegar. Service was inattentive and unprofessional throughout. The bald waiter who took our order was clearly more interested in watching women walk by than doing his job. Even when we mentioned the eggshells and hair in our food, he just shrugged it off and continued ogling passersby.
We were so disappointed and disgusted by the experience that we genuinely felt like warning others not to go in. Gran Caffe needs to seriously re-evaluate both its kitchen hygiene and...
Read moreDO NOT GO HERE!!! HORRIBLE SERVICE AND FOOD. Went to get some cafè here in the morning and the workers didn’t even give us the time of day. We stood inside to be served and they just flat out ignored us so we left. We were stupid enough to go back for dinner that night because of the nice view. The waiter was a tiny man suffering from Napoleon syndrome with a crappy mustache and an even worse attitude. Did not feel welcome at all and the food was straight up garbage. My wife chipped her tooth on the bread they served and the ravioli served on our plane ride back was better than the sorry excuse of a pasta dish they served us. I highly recommend the Garden Hotel in Ravello or Da Pietro's in Scala. Both have amazing food and service with...

Do yourself a favor, safe your money and try to avoid this place.
The service ist just stressed, throws the food or menu on the table and even just walks away for no understandable reason in the middle of your order.
Prices are overpriced as you pay 5€ für a coke in a can or 9€ for Spritz and also 7€ for bruschetta, which was made in 10 seconds.
Visiting the inside you see the bred comes in big bags straight outta fabric, basil leaves unwashed out of plastic bags finished with some small dices of tomato's.
That is not in any favor of the Italian cuisine you might looking for but ends up in a unreasonable bill just for the view (if you get a nice table...
