Voglia... Pane e vino — Restaurant in Bari

Awful customer experience. Can’t believe what I’ve just witnessed. We wanted to make an order and we’re told we had to wait for the group who walked in before us to make their order….The group we were waiting on were still deciding what to have… mind boggling.

We decided to leave and sit in the place directly opposite (Mercantile Nove - highly recommend!). The group we were waiting on also left and sat in the same place as us due to the wait time. We were welcomed and served immediately and we proceeded to watch another 3 groups of people sit down and then leave because of the wait. It became quite comical to watch!

This was at 11am on a Saturday morning. Other than the group “we had to wait for” - we were the only ones in there. No excuses!

Who ever owns this place needs to have a strong word with the staff and send them on a customer experience course Never seen anything like it. The woman with brown/red hair also needs to...

Great place for a lazy afternoon with a glass (or bottle ;) of delicious wine. I wasn't sure which wine to have so the owner offered to let me try some first - she had a few bottles opened, but the first one I tried was so amazing I didn't need to try anything else. I ended up ordering a whole bottle and taking half of it home :) As for the food, I took a plate of cheese for one, and it was enormous! The cheese was great, and it came with some burrata in a tiny bowl, small sandwiches with homemade paste and some amazing figue jam. It felt great to be there, eat and drink, and read a nice book. During any other time than winter it would be even better to enjoy all that at a table outside, facing a busy Piazza...

Il tutto comincia sedendomi al tavolo con un gruppo di amici dove ordiniamo spritz e cibo, per nulla buoni, nè uno nè gli altri, ma sorvoliamo. Arriva la cameriera che molto scortesemente ci sottolinea sin da subito di dover pagare “solo cash” cito testualmente. Paghiamo come richiesto senza batter ciglio. La recensione potrebbe fermarsi qui e non avrebbe senso di esistere, se non per quanto a seguito avvenuto. Causa pioggia, (a saperlo avrei preferito inzupparmi di acqua) ordiniamo un secondo giro di bevande. Al momento del pagamento del secondo round, la cameriera, sempre quella delle scuole del bon ton, mi richiede come intendo pagare. Le rispondo con carta e rincara la dose chiedendomi se volessi pagare per tutti. Ovviamente mi tocca rispiegarle che pagavo solo la mia quota e udite udite, arriva dalla Signora la risposta sarcastica degna della piú alta borghesia: “NON VOLEVO GRAVARE SULLE TUE FINANZE”. Un velo pietoso per questa specie di imprenditrice/cameriera/ non basterebbe, quindi mi tocca fare in modo che realizzi quanto accaduto.

Sí perché se volessi appigliarmi alla legalità, per il pagamento del primo giro non ho visto uno straccio di scontrino e per quello del secondo in cui mi veniva detto di essere un pezzente perché pagassi con carta, voglio ricordare che sempre per legge è obbligatorio ricevere qualsiasi forma di pagamento.

Se ora invece volessi appigliarmi al buongusto, per quello signora cara, non c’è nulla da dirle. Lei ne è talmente esente, così come è carente di educazione e amore verso la clientela.

The worst place ever been in my life. The waiters are so rude. They forced us to pay only with cash and in the moment of paying, the waiter asked me if I wanted to pay only my part or for everybody. When I replied her “only mine” she told me in a sarcastic way:

“Don’t worry I don’t want to to burden on your finance”

Well dome Mrs, you’ve been the harshest, nastiest, impolite person I’ve ever met in my own life.
