Pizzeria d'Autore — Restaurant in Bari

A group of friends and myself visiting Bari decided to pay a visit to Pizzeria d'Autore after reading the very positive reviews and we were not disappointed!

We ordered several different pizzas, all of which were very mouth-watering and tasty, prepared with fresh ingredients and a perfect crust.

The pizzaiolo Antonio and his wife were very warm and welcoming and they instantly made us feel at home.

We liked the pizza so much that we decided to return again another time, this time bringing along more friends. And once more, every one of us enjoyed the delicious pizzas and had a really great time at Pizzeria d'Autore.

I'm a big pizza lover and I can easily say that I ate the best one here. The staff is exceptional, welcoming and friendly. The place is more intimate, full of history and with a pleasant and welcoming atmosphere. Because I am a slightly more critical person, I served dinner here on two different days, and on both days I served a perfect pizza. The chef is a person with a lot of experience, a champion in the true sense of the word. From all the places where I ate pizza in Bari, this place is at least a few levels above the others. We love pizza (New Yorkers, after all) and this is one of the best of the best! We wanted to find a restaurant that opened on the early side, but also had top-rated food, and we discovered this place. What a find! The people are just lovely and the food is delicious. I've never seen such a huge insalata mista (and dressed to perfection) in my life. The place opens at 6:30 p.m., which is also helpful since we had an early flight the next morning....
