We were expecting bad food and bad service since this kind of restaurants is usually a tourist trap but we didn’t have the choice we were hungry.

Lets start with the service: if this restaurant is working, it’s because of one woman who was waitressing, correcting the errors of her colleagues, serving food, taking orders, serving ice cream, whereas one of her colleagues who « installed » us without even showing us the table was just moving around, doing nothing, communicating misinformation about the fact that the kitchen was closed when it wasn’t yet, was doing and ugly job to sum it up.

Drinks: the only good factor and that’s why I’m going with two stars. All drinks were tasty and correctly made. But again, served late because of the bad service.

Food: Horrific. The Pizzas were of a bad quality we could say they were bought at a supermarket and heated. The Caprese salad was so bad even the waitress that was literally running all the restaurant by herself realized it wasn’t even dressed and brought us the condiments to do it. The mozzarella tasted « nothing », just something that shews. The tomatoes half of which were colorless and dry had no taste also.

In two words, tourist trap, just go there to have some drinks if you have enough time and have the luck to be served by this superwoman waitress, if she’s still...

Sat in for a meal at this so called “restaurant” with 3 other girls. Utterly disgusting service, I’ve never in my life experienced anything on that level. We were sat at a table directly across from the bar where we had the pleasure of six staff members crowded together laughing and staring at us sometimes even pointing. I felt so uncomfortable as my friend speaks fluent Italian and understood every word that was said they were mocking the way we ate our food and how we were dressed I ordered a margarita pizza but I wasn’t feeling well so only ate half of the pizza. On of the male workers was pointing and saying how we weren’t eating the full meal and proceeded to approach my table and ask why and giggled as he walked off. I asked the what seemed to be manager at the end when I was paying why all of this was happening and told me I picked it up wrong and they never spoke about us. will never be returning to say the least and would give zero stars...

this is my first review ever, If I can save at least one person, it is worth. Please for the love of God, do not go there.

  1. after ordering meal for 30 euro (in the menu, there is info that its 2-person meal), I was asked from waiter if we are on the diet? This is some next level disrespect, why would any waiter comment about this? what does this bring to them? Really never heard this in my life, in any restaurant in EU. please keep in mind I am 75kg man LOL.

  2. they bring up some kind of plate, with like 10 salami slices and half of tomato and half pepper and like 5 slices of ham. FOR 30 euro what a steal.

  3. of course, you will ger charged additional COPERTO as in many Italian restaurants in addition

  4. everything expensive for nothing. No class, almost no amount of meal, Aperol for double the price...

I cannot advise other restaurants as we did not have time there to check but better get back to Milano...

We went to the actual ‘restaurant’ part of this establishment which is where the picturesque terazza is. I don’t get the reviews saying that it isn’t clear you can only sit there if you order from the restaurant menu - it is clearly a separate part away from the bar. It isn’t cheap, but what do you expect, it’s Bellagio on the front of Lake Como for Christ’s sake. Service wasn’t exceptional but good enough. The stars of the show are the food and the view. The beef carpaccio was extremely high quality and the seafood misto was a large portion of freshly fried, fresh seafood. It was tremendous. And the bottle of Pinot Grigio was a bobby little number. Loved it. Again, not cheap. All this, plus (an admittedly small) tiramisu, came to €127 but, as I said, this isn’t a place you come for a €10 panini. I would come back. Bring money.

Pranzato in terrazza.
