With a tired kid in the evening heat we just took the first place we crossed after a while’s looking around. They welcomed us and we got seated. Menu was interesting and many alternatives to choose from. There’s also a special kids menu which was appreciated.
I ordered the “cutlet” which really was a schnitzel. It came with a very small cup of mayonnaise. Good and all but way too little for something as dry as schnitzel and potato wedges. Unfortunately the schnitzel was not evenly cooked because it was very thin on one side and thick on the other. The thick side was raw and I couldn’t even chew it. The other side of course overdone. My salad was brown in all parts except for the carrots.
My feeling is the kitchen didn’t put any effort to make the food edible. My wife thought her chicken was ok cooked but lacked any taste.
Either this is just a brewery with a half hearted kitchen or the chef simply had a bad day.
We also thought the service was pretty lazy. I ordered a beer while the kid ate her dessert but it took 10 minutes to get the beer even though the waitress in the bar didn’t seem occupied with anything much.
The previous reviews raised our expectations and I feel we were just out of luck tonight.

Read morei entered this place on the 2nd of july around 7pm. the place looks nice and friendly with a football table to cure boredom. as i sat down i was quickly met with dirty classes and not just one, each and every glass was dirty and covered in water marks. our order was taken and we were left waiting for a reasonable time. drinks came around and they had forgotten the orange juice, as i am a proud type 1 diabetic i am heavily reliant on my sugar intake and the fact that my orange juice was forgotten made me panic and i got scared. i had to go a retrieve my juice from the front table. then the food came out and the mix grill for 2 looked okay. the sauce on the ribs was horrible, the chicken sausages were bland, the steak was chewy and not medium rare as we requested and the chicken was still pink. the vegetables were all roasted to yebbi and the eggplant was old and chewy. overall had a really poor experience here and this place will not be getting my business or money ever again. if i could give this restaurant zero...
Read moreThe atmosphere is mixed up. It has something Asian, something western and something English. What we had was quite a disaster - Sicilian fried were tasteless, the rice balls were still frozen inside and hot fried outside. The octopus was dead since last summer and hard to chew, the Burrata pizza was a cooked onion dish over a pizza dough, never seen anything like this. The beers were something in contrast with the cosine. They were good. Sexy IPA, the black stout and the super clear lager, all good. The beer is the star in this place and nothing else. The staff are friendly and service fast but this does not compensate the poor meals coming from the kitchen. If you want a good beer go, if you want to eat I guess there are...
