One of those rare cases where 5 stars isn't enough. Amazing from start to finish, in every single way. Here's why: Service is excellent, enthusiastic and just in time, allowing us to slow down a bit between courses instead of being ushered into the next round of food. The atmosphere is amazing. When we arrive, we're the only ones sitting on the terrace but it gradually fills up, with most guests seemingly local and familiar to the staff. The overall feeling of content is contagious. Finally, the main reason for our elation is the food. We open with oysters, mixed fried platter and a glass of prosecco. The mixed fried platter contains not only calamari, shrimp and fish but zucchini and carrots as well, which is a terrific addition. We also appreciate how the seafood hasn't dried out or how the overall taste isn't dominated by salt. Accompanied by an excellent Pinot Grigio, we move on to our main courses, the risotto of the day (with cauliflower, cream of mozarella and raw amberjack) and a spaghetti vongole. The spaghetti is a true vongole, not dominated by garlic and butter but full of the ocean's aromas. All clams are filled and their contents are sweet and tender. The risotto is a true feast. The fish is fatty and full of flavor, almost like pancetta or guanciale in texture and richness. It works wonderfully with the creamy mozzarella and the slight bitterness of the cauliflower. The rice has the perfect amount of bite. Every bite is savoured and cherished, but eventually our plates are emptied. We hold a brief pause and move to dessert, a hazelnut semifredo. An astonishing way to end our night. This has been a terrific experience, we'll recommend this restaurant to everyone visiting Bologna.

Hand's down! The best meal we had in all of Italy and it was by happenstance! This establishment had excellent seating, the help was, actually, attentive but beyond all this, the food was exemplary! We had the Tagliolini al Nero in Seppia Con Tonno Pomodorini e Burrata and, aside from it being "inked" by a squid, it was absolutely, PERFECT! Presentation was superb and, only outdone, by the meal itself. We have not had much luck here with pasta and seafood mixed but this place changes our minds! Went back tonight for Ravioli Ricotta e Spinaci Con Spigola Pesto on Batiligo e Bottarga and the Tonno Scottato con Cipolla Aramellata e Riduzione di Porto! I am left speechless...and that NEVER, happens (ask my husband 😉) If you pass this place without stopping, shame on you! It is beyond wonderful 😊

Yo me pedí lasagna.

the guy working here (owner i think) was disrespectful, he incorrectly thought that because i had a bottle of water i was not going to order drinks or something. the fact his i was doing tourism and i briefly placed the bottle of water on the table to grab something from my bag before i sat down to consume. The guy ran to me and simply exploded. There is something very wrong with this person of course. I have been in this restaurant before but now i...
