Ristorante Pizzeria Victoria — Restaurant in Bologna

It's a TOURIST TRAP poor quality 👎🏻

NOT WORTH YOUR MONEY. We searched for a place to have a nice dinner, came across this place where the waiter was inviting people from the street. After we sat down, the overall service wasn't good. The waiters didn't care much. They throw a bag of bread on your table and then take it after a while. We didn't touch that bread. It seemed to me they put it back into a shelf to use it later for other guests..

Anyway, then the food arrived - tagliatelle Bolognese (14€) and Tortellini Bolognese (15€). After a first bite we knew we have made a mistake coming here. The pasta wasn't cooked enough and it didn't have a taste. The sauce didn't have a distinct taste, but it was ok. We were quite disappointed with the quality of the food. Honestly, we had pasta from supermarket at home the other night and it tasted so much better than this.. We ate this only because we were hungry, but we should have made a complaint right at the beginning. 🥲🥲🥲

The check: they add 3€ per person for the service. So we ended up paying 6 € more. For such a poor quality I would have given them no tip, but they basically forced us to tip them. But for what?! For overpriced under average food quality, under average service. 😡😡

Please do yourself a favor and go someplace else with better rating. This totally ruined our Bologna experience since we were only spending one...

My 1st experience with real Italian food made in Italy was at Ristorante Pizzeria Victoria in Bologna.

After a long journey I arrived at my AirBnB, took a shower and headed out to eat. The host recommended I ll go to Augusto Vechio street and pick a place to eat.

I got on the street and since i was very hungry i got into the 1st pizzeria I can see and I DONT regret it.

The served me a fabulous pizza, quattro formagi, like i dreamed it will be. It was freshly gotten outta the over, storching hot, got myself Limoncello cocktail and ate the pizza in one go :).

Usually when i eat pizza thats hot i have stomach problems but this time was ok.

The prices are fair, staff is very polite and qualified and the atmosefere is tipically for a Bologna foood street.

It is a very hard choice to make by entering this restaurant on the weekend, especially when you didn't reserve a table in a reputable restaurant beforehand.

I don't like to compare in general, but on an exceptional note, I can say this restaurant is an alternative to fast food chain, if not worse.

The service was mediocre, we stayed around 1 hour and half in total between ordering, waiting and eating. The pizza wasn't special, almost a basic pizza without a taste.

The prices are somehow expensive for what we ate. Two pizzas, a small plate (I mean very small) of mashed potatoes, and bottle of water. All of which for 36 euros.

I mean this restaurant can be compared to fast food chains, so why to spend 36 euros if I can pay 10-12 euros in McDonald's for the same if not...
