Was there during the weekend for a lunch. Nice atmosphere, dinning outside, waitresses organized and friendly. We didn’t wait for so long for the service. Food was delicious. I ordered a bistecca di lombata di vitello - local veal loin steak with chanterelle sauce, potatoes and green beans with bacon; cabbage salad and the sin after - Topfenknödel. Everything was excellent, meet was melting in the mouth basically. Dessert delicious. I would highly recommend visiting this restaurant. Big plus as they work during all the day and they don’t close from 15-18h, as we arrived around 15:30h for a lunch, which is late for the Italian standards 😅 Excellent quality price ratio. We are looking forward to coming back to this restaurant in the future.

So.. we live in Bozen and we know where locals and where turists are used to eat. The “”good”” thing about this restaurant is that the kitchen is open the whole afternoon, we were hungry at 16 so we decided to try. Never again. I am sorry. We choose the meat but it didn’t have any taste, not at all and it’s strange because we saw spices on it. A mistery. The wurstel were also cooked badly, super hard and dry, no taste. Canederli were horrible (kind of wet??? Boh..), the speck inside very low quality and the cappuccio salad probably old (very slimy). 22 euro for person is not even that bad for so much meat, but now we understand why such a low price. We tried a dessert: sweet canederli made with ricotta filled with chocolate. Not bad, shame they were microwaved. Beer was nice, though. Maybe we were unlucky 🤷🏻♀️

Very bad everything. I don't know where to start. First, there is no italian friendly welcome as apparently here you are no longer in Italy. It was a busy day as there were some events downtown and the place was crowded to say the least, but this is no excuse to receive bad food and no bread for example. Also you can't change your mind either as the orders are sent live and that's it. The goulash we had was very bad, nothing to do with the real one and the white sausages also. Quite a bit disgusting even, bit maybe because we just weren't used to receiving actual white sausages in a bowl of water. They tasted blunt and the texture was cellulose-like. We tried many weird things, but not as these. Never again.

I had an alright meal here for lunch here during my brief wait for a few hours before I got on the train back to Rome. It was nice to be back in Bolzano as I hadn't been here in 10 years or so. I didn't want too much, so I went for a mixed sausage dish with sauerkraut. The 3 different types of sausages were all cooked fine and tasty enough, the cabbage was a bit soft for my liking...as I prefer it with a bit more bite. I thought it was a bit expensive for €16 euros as there wasn't a lot, also not the best German sausage dish I've had, but not the worst...the food and service was fine, but nothing to go crazy about, hence the 3 stars. It's worth a visit, but there are other places to check out also.

Typical three-storey local in Bolzano (because houses used to be paid according to width, and people built high, narrow houses with many floors). Underground is the artisanal brewery with visible machinery; however, being a restaurant must not only be good beer but also food, which I must say very good. The dishes are typical, plentiful and not very expensive. I liked it but the portions are too abundant. In my account you can find other useful reviews of places scattered in Northern Italy; don’t forget to follow me and like me and see you next time!

I will start saying food was not good at all, my pumpkin risotto was extremely disappointing, my husband ordered pork knuckle and was not please either, but the worst is we ordered a cheese platter that was supposed to be a variety of cheeses and they brought us a plate with big pieces of the same cheese, when we complained to the server he said they were different when they were visibly the same one, it was offensive. I will totally recommend you find yourself a better restaurant
