The place is very beautiful, in the city center very close to the Christmas Market in bolzano. Entering the place we were very impressed by the decoration and the general atmosphere of the restaurant. The problem thought started immediately after. Sitting on the table a basket with two half-eaten pieces of bread were waiting for us. We asked to be changed and indeed the member of the staff who was serving us changed them immediately. Seeing the catalogue we had a good number on first and second dishes to choose from. From the firsts we chose tagliatelle with deer ragu and traditional canederli. The canederli were completly tasteless, nothing to remind of the traditional one. The pasta was less than discent, small portion with little sauce completly liquid as a result of being all in the bottom of the plate. In all we wanted to add some graded cheese in the pasta but it had a weird smell. We had ordered also a big main dish but we asked not to be served to us if it wasn't already prepared and in fact the staff members were very polite and immediately cancelled the order. Two starts only for the staff members and the fact that the space was very...

When i walked in, I had high expectations. We were seated downstairs with our friends. We got our second course so late, the other ones were already finished. They gave the wrong pizza to 2 different people and one of them didn’t eat until almost everyone at our table ate their pizzas. my husband’s cola wasn’t fizzy at all, just flat. My course wasn’t better. The fish was skin down and not crispy whatsoever. The potatoes were salty at one and bland at the other side of the plate. 26 or 27 euros for a fish filet and a couple potatoes was outraging. The schnitzel just flew out of the breading when my husband cut into it and the potato salad didn’t have seasoning. It was cheaper than the fish though. There’s a lot of things wrong with this. We came in at 6 and the bin in the bathroom was already full with paper. Definitely not trying again. At least the aufschnitt and...

Avoid at all costs – made my whole family sick

Avoid at all costs – made my whole family sick We ate at Fink in Bolzano yesterday, and it has been the worst dining experience of our holiday. Two of my three children ordered burgers – they didn’t enjoy them and left half. The rest of us tasted them, and within hours every single one of us was violently ill with sickness and diarrhoea. We were up all night, which is absolutely miserable when camping and trying to enjoy a holiday. This wasn’t just a bad meal – it has completely ruined our day and left us exhausted. The timing makes it very clear the burgers were the cause. For a restaurant to serve food that makes a whole family ill is unacceptable, and I would urge them to take a hard look at their kitchen standards. Holidaymakers beware – this place cost us far more than the price...

I come here at the 3rd first tables of the restaurant and wait 20 minutes until they opened for the dinning menu( fair enough). Then i ordered Tagliata di manzo and it took more than 20 minutes to arrive with the well done steak instead of medium rare as requested. The lady insisted it medium rare and asked me "So???? Do you want another?" Yes, of course i want another after all of this. She acted very cold face and then pizza for another more than 20mins. Then another 15 mins for the tiramisu but it turned out that they forget to put it in the order. So i checked the bill without having the dessert. Overall, the food was nice , 4 stars but the attitude and professional was poor!!!

Very charming room in a very old building. We really enjoyed our stay here. Our room was clean, large, comfortable and furnished with a full kitchen. The furniture and decor were delightful and fit the genre of what you would expect from an old Italian home. The barrel shaped ceiling and vaulted windows were amazing. The floor were original old wooden planks. The windows opened up to a charming courtyard. We were on the third floor with no lift. The entrance was a bit tricky, but the staff were very welcoming.

Four of us came here on the recommendation of a friend and were not disappointed. We shared the cold cuts and cheese appetizer, which was delicious. For the main course, we all stuck with the German specialties: Wienerschnitzel (veal) and Wienerschnitzel (turkey) both served with potato salad; and goulash (since I have an allergy to wheat, they substituted roasted potatoes for the dumplings). All three dishes were excellent. The service was great as well. Thank you Samba and the rest of the Fink crew!
