Gohan Sushi Cagliari — Restaurant in Cagliari

This was the second time we (my girlfriend and I) went to this restaurant. We casually decided to go eating something there while being in Cagliari because we didn't plan to stay the whole day there, but being both of us super excited of eating sushi, we really loved staying there. The atmosphere is awesome, really well curated place and the decorations are lovely. We were welcomed this second time immediately also because we booked a table for 6 people, some of them never ate at an all you can eat sushi restaurant. The dishes that were served were all perfect, nicely prepared and the presentation of all of them was really amazing, even though the place was full and very crowded at the time. My girlfriend and I were served by this amazing waiter (Angelo) that was super patient and super fast along all the dinner and made a huge effort into making us experience the best service all the time! The worst experience we've had in Italy. We were the first people to arrive after the restaurant opened for dinner. We stood just inside the door for several minutes before approaching a staff member to ask if we could sit. The bar tender replied and was pleasant. The first staff member took us to our seats and then we sat for 10 minutes while the rest of the staff chatted and stood around. No one came to our table. We started to think we had to order off an app or something so all got on our phones and scanned all the QR codes we could find at the table. Just links to the menu. Still no service so we got up and left, walked past several staff who looked a little confused but no one said anything....

We walked in and despite being the only customers we were ignored. When someone was finally promoted to give a sh!t to seat us it seemed like it was the last thing he cared to do.

We were tucked into a corner out of site. Further, despite walking past the servers responsible for the second floor and out area, we were completely ignored again.

The tables had scan codes so we thought we needed to order that way... Nope... So we waited far too long for staff to check on us.

We ended up walking out and taking our group elsewhere.
