The restaurant itself wasn’t the cleanest. I ordered a non vegetarian thali. She didn’t ask me what I preferred in the thali and so I was served dal… chicken i don't know what because it didn’t have a distinct flavour and the gravy looked watered down??? Anyway I was taught not to waste food so I ate the old rice which I watched her heat up in a microwave. Dal which was too salty with obviously no tadka and it didn’t taste fresh or particularly warm. And for the chicken, old chicken breast (based on the texture and the taste) with a sauce that I still can’t figure out. I say sauce because gravy requires thickness and richness and this was just watered down yellow sauce with old chicken. To say I was disappointed is an understatement. Oh cherry on top, or should I say, gulab jaman on top… I could tell by the look that this gulab jaman was inedible but my dear sweet italian husband who was very excited about said gulab jaman took a small bite and decided it was inedible and so the sprite and coke were the highlights of our meal. I’m saddened because indian/Pakistani food is delicious and this place just gives it a bad rep/is not a good example...
Read moreWorst food ever, I have never ever ate such inedible tasteless food. If this is the last place to get food on the planet, die hungry. If you have some excessive money, burn them as fireworks. But don't visit this restaurant at all. Whatever I order it was all tasteless. Just to avoid redundancy, I won't use "tasteless" word again and again, it goes without saying that everything was tasteless. I ordered Chicken Tikka Masala - look was horribe, taste was ever more horrible. Smelled like old expired chicken. I ordered Chicken Seekh kabab- it was all potatoes, no chicken in it. I also ordered Shrimp Tandoori - it was having weird smell in it. I had garlic naan- I think I must have a carried laser cutting machine to cut that naan. Salty Lassi was okish.

Read moreI had a thali meal because I always liked them when I visited Mumbai or Delhi. You get mostly different vegetable curries on one plate, and they are affordable. I ordered mine here hot (chili) which it wasn't. Nevertheless, I liked it, although the taste wasn't anything close to what I'm used to from India's small restaurants. But it might be a traditional kitchen of a part of India I didn't go to. Thali meals will be served on steel plates, the other dishes in plastic plates. Something one rather would not expect these days. Mostly frequented by locals, when we ate in. Five stars for the prices, three to four...
