My husband and I found this place on Trip Advisor and had to go from all the great reviews! We were not disappointed! It’s a little past the main town, off the beaten path. We used google maps to help us and there’s an unsuspecting gate that is the entrance. My only suggestion for the restaurant would be to put a sign outside the gate or to leave the gate open so guests don’t get lost.
This is a family owned restaurant - they were actually there enjoying a meal when we arrived! Our waiter was so kind and attentive and made the best recommendations. We had the chefs ravioli with shrimps, and a seafood pasta (shrimp, clams, mussels, octopus). It was absolutely delicious and wonderfully handmade! They kindly brought us bruschetta for free before our meal, which was also tasty, and finished our meal with a shot of homeade limencello on the house as well. Very generous! We had their tiramisu too which was made that day!
The walk was beautiful and the food superb! You won’t be disappointed. Oh, and did I mention the view is amazing?!! It was dark so we couldn’t fully enjoy it but I can’t imagine if the sun was...
Read moreWe ate at several places all around Italy including to top TripAdvisor recommendations for Venice,Florence,Capri and Cinque terre. No other restaurant matched up the the overall quality of service and food found here. The staff was super friendly and opened the restaurant early just for us. We basically had a private dinner overlooking the mountains and water and enjoyed the occasional chat with the owner. The prices are very reasonable and a much better value than any other restaurant found in the main touristy areas. We had two orders of their ravioli special (it was THAT good), a lobster pasta dish, prime rib, filet steak, two orders of their bruschetta and a couple bottles of wine. Everything was very tasty and authentic. This restaurant is far away from the main touristy areas so may be a bit difficult to find but it is well worth the hike. This will definitely a place we visit again if we are ever in capri...
Read moreWe had a really nice dinner at this resuarant. The place is quite as it is in a spot away from other restaurants and shops, but it took us only 6mins to walk there from the centre of Capri. It is a beautiful terrasse with poolside view first and further away you can see the sea. The menu offers a nice variety of seafood dishes but also some other dishes. We started with Gozze mussels which were amazing, the sauce/soup was very tasty and the mussels had big pieces of meat. As a main course we went for the ravioli dello chef and a seafood pasta, both were delicious and fair portions. They have a decent wine menu, we had a nice white wine from the Toscana.
The perfect ending of this dinner was the home made limoncello, we would say that it was the best one we had in Napoli/Capri, very rich in taste.
All in all we really recommend this place. The prices are fair and so are...
