Firstly, I want to commend the quality of the food. It was absolutely delicious, and I truly enjoyed every bite. The atmosphere was inviting, and it was clear that a lot of care goes into your dishes.

However, I did want to bring to your attention an aspect of our experience that was less than satisfactory. As we were finishing our meal, we were eager to order some drinks and dessert. Unfortunately, we felt rushed by the waitstaff, who seemed eager to clear our table. He served what was left on the bootle making our wine get warnmer, Additionally, while the couple seated next to us was offered dessert options, we were not presented with the same opportunity.

As a business owner myself, I understand the importance of timely service, but I believe that every guest should feel valued and have the chance to enjoy their experience fully. It was disappointing to leave without being given the chance to indulge in dessert, which was something we were looking forward to. We ate here recently on our tour of Italy. We booked in advance but had to move our reservation up by an hour and a half and they were so gracious in allowing us to do so. We were in Italy celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary and the experience at this restaurant was a highlight of our trip. The view, the food , the ambiance and the service was top tier. Even if you have a wine in mind, just go with their recommendation, in our case it was perfect. We were helped by a man who I believed to be the manager/owner and I am so sorry I did not get his name but he made our experience extremely special. Our dessert which I almost refused, lol, was served with a sparkler accompanied by Ed Sheeran's song 'Perfect' playing and the entire restaurant (very minimal amount of peopl) were made aware that it was our anniversary. We recently dined at Ristorante Il Geranio Capri and while the food was good, the experience was overshadowed by the shockingly poor behavior of the staff. We had made a booking a week in advance with several emails confirming our booking. From the moment we walked in, it was clear that we were being judged as we were placed on a table in a corner when there were nicer settings available. The staff were rude, arrogant, and displayed a blatant lack of respect. Worse yet, their behavior crossed the line into homophobia, and ageism, making us feel unwelcome and uncomfortable before we even placed our order.

To top it off, after pouring our wine, a staff member casually threw a cloth across our table as if we were an afterthought, as well as trying to clear our plates while we were still eating. It’s a shame that a restaurant with decent food is so deeply flawed by the terrible attitudes of its staff. I would not recommend this place to anyone who values respect and...
