This I had looked up places to eat in Capri that were not too expensive and this one came up on the list. Quite by chance we ended up in this area and very glad we came here for lunch. Food was lovely and servers were also really nice. The breadsticks on the table were so so so good. My sister actually took some extra home haha. They had a salt + garlic flavor as well as a plain breadstick. Honestly both were really good. Fresh bread we brought to the table was also nice. Eggplant Parmesan was amazing!! I really love the flavor here and everything in the dish overall. Tried it at another restaurant the previous night for dinner but this was so so so much better! Fried calamari and shrimp had good portion size. I love the actual big heads of the calamari (the rings were a bit too oily and didn't seem to have substantial flesh, but the actual heads were nice!). Got the Pizza with the tomato, mushroom, sausage and hot pepper; Viva really hoping it would be spicy because of that hot pepper but it wasn't really spicy. Quite a fresh and hot pizza though. We saw the steam coming off when it came to the table. Definitely a good sign. Everyone loved that pizza!! Ravioli Caprese was also decent. I'm not too much a fan of tomato sauce so I preferred it without the sauce itself, but everyone seem to like it. Veal Escalope aka Scallopini (game with like a lemon white sauce) was simple but a good source of protein. Not a fatty cut of meat - more like lean protein and one of the cleaner items on the menu which I appreciated. Torta Caprese was the highlight for dessert. Rich and chocolatey and the crunch from the nuts was amazing. It was a little too crumbly though so we couldn't get proper spoonfuls on the fork. Also got the Tiramisu but it wasn't as good. There was some alcohol in there and it was a bit too strong.

Unfortunately service lets this place down incredibly. Similar to other reviews, staff aren't very friendly nor attentive. We asked for some ice three times across three different waiters and the bill several times as well. Waiters were friendly with each other and quite chatty and seemed to enjoy themselves but unfortunately patrons didn't receive the same friendliness as it was all about efficiency. We were recommended to go by our boat captain and glad we took his suggestion. Food was fantastic and the view is incredible if you're able to secure or reserve a table by the window. Worth a visit as the restaurant sits just outside of the piazza so you miss the hustle bustle but still very authentic Italian and capri vibes. Go early to avoid waiting or call up for a reservation

We came here because of the good review i've seen. Waited for around 20 minutes just to get in. When we got in the waiter was super tired, barely talked and wasnt really in the mood to work. Ordered 3 easy meals to make (margharitta pizza, raw salmon and some pasta) and then we've waited.... and waited... Prompt the lazy waitress to see whats with our food - he was on the phone texting while murmuring "ive ordered it", then just left 10 minutes later i see him speaking to the head of the restraunt - and then rushing to the kitchen. Coming back 2 minutes later with all of our dishes, then the manager just threw the dishes at our table and said angrily "its not a fast food restraunt!! It takes some time!!" Ive then said "the fish is literally raw, and other tables that came after us got their food and left while we've waited..

The problem isnt with the big waiting time, the problem is neither of them took responsibility for their mistake - and thats why i think its a rooted service problem at the restraunt and i do not...
