Naka Lounge Restaurant — Restaurant in Cefalù

What can I say about this establishment? Let me think: The address is wrong and owners do not even bother to change it in Google maps. So first you go to where Google maps lead you just to learn that they have another address. Other customers mentioned this too, long time ago. Nobody cares. When I entered this establishment-it was completely empty. Not even 1 staff member. When I did find the guy on the bar, after waiting a little, he conveyed me a message that there is no food for takeaway Waiter that was outside said otherwise. When I became frustrated with this inconsistency he started to call me names in Italian, hoping I do not understand. My mom moved to Milano when I was 18, which is 22 years ago. I do know how Italians curse and call names. Shame on him. We managed to get food, take away. Nothing extraordinary. And surely overpriced. 16 euro for 1 roll. Money is not the problem, quality is and I would price their products maybe 7-8 euro tops and only because of their central location

Fellow visitors, consider my comment when you decide if you want to visit this establishment. I would hardly call it a professional behavior from the staff. Same goes to their food. Probably having just a drink there could be fine. Though I wound NOT visit them...

Grazie a Marco Larosa, ieri sera con mio marito abbiamo passato una serata magnifica, in una location moooltoo suggestiva, piatti eccellenti con un’ottima materia prima di vera qualità, lavorata benissimo da mani esperte. Vi chiederete dove? Tutto questo nella location del Naka Restaurant drink & sushi con cucina mediterranea, esattamente ai piedi di sua maestà la Cattedrale. C’è la possibilità di cenare sia all’interno che all’esterno: noi abbiamo optato per l’esterno . Il locale è veramente curato, molto elegante. La mise en place molto minimal, ma con tocchi molto ricercati dalla lampada alle bacchette in metallo. Per non parlare della vera chicca che oggi giorno fa veramente la differenza…lo champagne servito nella sua coppa stile anni 20. Veramente notevole!! (basta champagne servito in flûte da prosecchino… qui al Naka la classe non è acqua 😉.) Arriviamo al cibo: il menù è ben descritto separato in due liste per sushi e piatti mediterranei. Noi abbiamo optato per il sushi, non ricordo il nome delle portate, ma tra ricci, gambero rosso di Mazzara, tartufo, tonno, salmone…alghe e l’ottimo riso è stata una vera esperienza di gusto, ed ogni pezzo corrispondeva a un’esplosione di sapori tutti ben distinti che si sposavano divinamente. Insomma il Naka si riconferma un locale Top dove ritornarci sempre con gran piacere e la certezza di non restare delusi. Personale di sala accorto, discreto, presente, ma mai invadente. Marco Larosa è un ottimo padrone di casa sorridente dai modi sempre gentili pronto a soddisfare tutti i desideri. Prezzo assolutamente in linea con ciò che il Naka propone. First of all, the location of this business is set wrong. It is actually at the Duomo square. We spent 10 minutes searching for it at Discesa Paramuro 2, where it's pinned on the map, only to find out that it's not there. Second, they only offer the online menu which doesn't list any beverages except a few sorts of beer. I ordered beer, and their response was "sorry, we are out of beer". Period. Later we figured that there was a bar with its own menu, that nobody told us about. Third, the waiter brought the sushi and left. We asked about soy sauce. He brought the sauce and left. We had to summon him again to ask about wasabi and ginger. He brought wasabi in the amount of toothpaste that you squeeze on a toothbrush. Pretty funny. Sushi portions were very small...
