"Incredible" is not a strong enough word to describe the flavors, food, and atmosphere at this establishment. The location is somewhat difficult to find at first because it is tucked away from the bustling plaza’s typically lined with restaurants. However, we were referred by a friendly wine bar server we've come to adore and we're glad we took the recommendation. This is a resturant to seek out. The "historical dish" alone made us book a return trip to Como after first visiting for Christmas last year!
I have never been a fan of seafood as I don't care for the "fishy" flavors which can typically be found in most dishes I have tried, but this resturant focuses all of its attention on the perfection of a specially curated seafood selection of which I have never before experienced. Each dish I have tried has been the pinnacle of seafood preparation and flavor and I loved every bite.
The owners, Mary and Nicolo, always make us feel like we've known them for years. We liked the experience so much this year that we returned again the next evening before concluding our time in Como. All of the staff are professional and delightful to interact with and after only one evening, remembered each of our names! From the ingredient choices down to the locally sourced oil diffusers in the bathrooms, it is clear to me that every detail of the carefully curated atmosphere both inside and out are considered and cared about. The wine list is immaculate and if you feel lost, Nicolo is a great sommelier and will point you in the right direction and has never been wrong with our taste preferences which has led to our implicit trust in his judgement. He also respects our budget, which is typically otherwise impossible to find in Como. We are continually impressed and cannot wait for the next trip.
Many loving thanks to you and your wonderful staff. See you soon!

Food was not bad, Fried Calamari (€45) was the best, but overpriced for what you get, portions and quality, i.e., you can get similar for more or less half the price as you’ll be paying €30 for 3 Raviollis and €7 service fee per person
Service from the younger waiters was kind & friendly as they tried to translate to us what was good based on what we wanted to eat. However, the owner was showing slight attitude and rolled her eyes at us. This was after a slight disagreement amongst ourselves, infront of one of the waiters due to the language barrier, that was understandable but the owner became unfriendly even when asked for the toilet or when serving. We wanted to share some food so we could try a bigger variety, but she insisted us all to get a main despite not being too hungry as we’ve been hopping around bars and restaurants.
Definitely a spot to try but make sure you’re aware of the prices and the portions you get out of them, and have a look at the menu prior to trying, as they recommend tons of others not on the menu which does not...
Read moreWe had a lovely dinner and it felt super surreal because we were the only table in the whole restaurant! I was thinking it would be a perfect spot for proposals because its so romantic and it was just the 2 of us.... But I was with my mama so just an imagination! We ordered the special menu where the chef would design a 4 course meal for us. It is €100 per person and I think based on the food served, the service and the exclusitivity of the night it was not expensive at all. We had fresh prawn sashimi platter to start( big portion), then trio of seafood tapas which consist of octopus, grill fish and prawns. We then have 2 pastas which are freshly made with all prawns, think that's the end? no! We then have a deep fried seafood platter which is super yum, finishing with a tirimisu.it was a fabulous night, and dont get put off by the bell outside! U just simply press it and ask for a table, the...
