Maya Coffee — Restaurant in Como

Посетила эту кофейню недавно, и, к сожалению, опыт оказался крайне неприятным. Решила заказать кофе "tazza grande" – это что-то между эспрессо и американо (не такой водянистый как стандартный американо и не такой маленький как эспрессо). В Тичино - итальянском кантоне Швейцарии, мы называем это так.

Однако главная проблема заключалась не в том, что они не знали о чем речь, а в том, как отреагировали на мой заказ. Официантка, к которой я обратилась, разговаривала с откровенно наглым и надменным тоном, словно я сделала какое-то неприличное требование. Вместо того чтобы вежливо объяснить, что они не предлагают такой вариант кофе, она демонстрировала раздражение и полное отсутствие профессионализма. Возможно она встала не стой ноги, либо ненавидит свою работу. Мне жаль.

Кофе, который я в итоге получила, оказался посредственным – ни вкуса, ни аромата и горчит.

Если вы ищете место с хорошим кофе и приветливым обслуживанием, то эта кофейня явно не ваш выбор.

I recently visited this place, and unfortunately, the experience was quite unpleasant. I decided to order a "tazza grande" – something between an espresso and an Americano (it’s less watery than a regular Americano and bigger than espresso). In Italian canton of Switzerland, we say “tazza grande”, but here, they seemed unfamiliar with it.

However, the main problem wasn’t that they couldn’t make the coffee, but the way it was handled. The waitress I spoke to had an openly rude and arrogant tone, as if I had made an inappropriate request.

Instead of politely explaining that they don’t offer this kind of coffee, she showed irritation and a complete lack of professionalism. Perhaps she got up on the wrong side of the bed or simply hates her job. I’m sorry for her.

The coffee I eventually received was mediocre – no flavor, no aroma, and it was bitter.

If you’re looking for a place with good coffee and friendly service, this place is definitely not the right choice.

Ho visitato questa caffetteria di recente e, purtroppo, la mia esperienza è stata molto deludente. Ho deciso di ordinare una "tazza grande" – qualcosa a metà tra un espresso e un americano (con meno acqua rispetto a un americano normale e più grande di un espresso). In Ticino, lo chiamiamo così.

Tuttavia, il problema principale non era che non potessero preparare il caffè, ma il modo in cui la situazione è stata gestita. La cameriera con cui ho parlato aveva un tono apertamente scortese e arrogante, come se avessi fatto una richiesta inappropriata.

Invece di spiegare gentilmente che non servono quel tipo di caffè, ha mostrato irritazione e una totale mancanza di professionalità. Forse si è alzata con il piede sbagliato o semplicemente odia il suo lavoro. Mi dispiace per lei.

Il caffè che ho ricevuto alla fine era mediocre – senza sapore, senza aroma, e amaro.

Se cercate un posto con un buon caffè e un servizio accogliente, questa caffetteria...

Not joking when I say this is the BEST coffee in the world

As an avid coffee drinker, I go everyday drinking more than one cup of coffee. As a traveller, I've tried coffee from many different places, however non as good as this one. Other than a convenient and great location, the bar is also very friendly, hosting a great atmosphere. On my last visit to Como, I bought 3 large bags of coffee which have lasted me a year, at a decent price too. This is one of the great perks about this bar, not only can you enjoy your coffee inside the bar, but you can also choose to fill bags to bring with you, with a selection of many blends. All in all, highly recommend Maya Coffee, if like me, you enjoy coffee or just simply enjoy travel and hope to enhance your stay...

We joined KKday's tour of Lake Como & Bellagio.

We departed from Como to Bellagio and took a cruise along Lake Como, admiring the European-style scenery.

In the morning, we strolled around Como and noticed a long queue at a bakery. Not wanting to miss out, we waited for about 10 minutes and bought a large butterfly pastry at Beretta II Fornaio, which was really delicious😋!

After finishing the pastry, we went to a few other shops on the same street and had a cup of cappuccino at Maya Coffee. We stood at the counter to drink it, and it only cost €1.7, which was very cheap👍🏻.
