We are amazed with the originality taste maintained by the cook and also the fresh ingredients. We ordered Tantanmen Ramen and it is super recommended if you love the twist spicy of ramen. Nutty, creamy and perfectly balanced broth just like the original taste of Tantanmen. The ramen noodle was cooked perfectly and it has the perfect consistency. The pork gyoza is also perfectly grilled. In Italy, it is hard to find Gyoza with the right thickness of the dough. At Toku Ramen, the Gyoza skin is in a perfect thickness so when it was grilled; it has the right crunch as well softness to it. I could also tell that the sauce has been mixed perfectly between soy sauce, a bit of ponzu and a fresh tint of vinegar. The last one is the kimchi, that again come up with the nice balanced of spicy, garlic and fresh sourness. I am sorry I didn’t provide any picture because the food were so damn perfectly good! Best Ramen of Italy so far (we tried various Ramen house all over Italy: in Rome, Milan, Bologna, Forli, Firenze...
Read moreWe visited Toku Ramen in Como for two nights in a row, and each time, they made our dinner experience perfect in the chilly weather! On our second visit, they even remembered our order from the night before—two bowls of shoyu ramen with no vegetables, just as my fiancé likes it. I was genuinely surprised they remembered!
We accidentally ordered three bowls of miso ramen instead of two, and while they could have stayed quiet, the head chef kindly checked to make sure we actually wanted three. Since they couldn’t refund the extra bowl, they went above and beyond by offering us five pieces of gyoza, a bun and eggs to my fiancé’s bowl to balance out the total for 15 euros. The honesty and attention to detail from the chef was so refreshing!
The ramen itself was incredible, with flavors that truly satisfied our cravings for Asian food—especially since it’s hard to find Thai food nearby. If you’re in Como and craving Asian cuisine, I highly recommend Toku Ramen. It made us so happy for two...
Read moreCasual place with beautiful decor. You order at the machine just like in Japan! I've had ramen all over the world, including in Tokyo, Osaka, and San Francisco Japantown, and this place is comparable!! I was surprised to find such good ramen in Como. The noodles are the perfect texture, the broth is amazing, and the chashu pork was really good. I had shoyu flavor which was a bit salty, but even in Japan it's a bit salty, as that is the style. But it's the good kind of rich and satisfying saltiness, not the kind that lingers in your mouth and makes you thirsty. I'm glad I came here since I was craving some Asian soup after many nights of pasta and pizza....
