Panino Buono - vista Lago Como — Restaurant in Como

It was a really bad experience.... When we ordered, nobody told us that we have to wait almost an hour, for the starter! (not the first dish... the starter!) You are waiting an hour, and they do not give any chips or some bread, and they have not mentioned that they are full of orders or anything just to prepare ourselves or decide if we want to wait or not. After they served the starter (which was mixed salad with chicken) (40+mins) they brought the breads at the same time.Ok at least food is on the table. Then my husband received his plate (pasta) 5mins meanwhile we are eating but mine was nowhere. Ouch. After additional 8-10mins later my husband asked if they could help us with my plate as well -which was lasagne - so another 5mins later we could finally start to eat together!

I wonder if we would be 3of us and ask 3 plates, would we need to wait 15mins between the plates to start to eat together?

So basically an hour, we had our lunch. The food was unrecognisible, small and poor. No one cares about how are you... BUT!! Very overpriced (aperol spritz 10 eur) which is ok in Como and if you care a little bit for your customers, we are happy to pay this ... but the food, and mainly the service was terrible. I love Italy and their food but this...

SCAM! Do NOT go there! We went to have breakfast this morning and we really excited about the view & menue. However, the espresso was cold and tasted extremely bitter - when we talked to the service she just shrugged and mentioned that ‘that’s the way they do it’. The sandwhich was ok. However, when we went inside to pay, they charged us 28€ for two espresso and one sandwich. When we requested to see the menue they showed one with different prices than the one we had. Server was rude and mentioned that this doesn’t make a big difference.. I do not appreciate being ripped off so I would not recommend to go there - great alternative just a few seconds...

The place was quite crowded, AC wasn't powerful enough to cool the room. We had to wait very long for the menu and I then I got them myself. It took again a long time before having a waiter taking our order and then again took a very very long time for being served. Probably the "build your sandwich" style doesn't favour serving speed. Sandwiches were too big and we doggy-bagged the remains, we just had half at the table. The food quality was below what we expected from the average reviews we read from previous customers.
