I had a terrible experience at Logo Food in Como and I strongly advise you to avoid this restaurant. Here are the reasons why: • They charge you 20% extra on your bill as a service fee, but they never inform you about it beforehand. This is a dishonest and sneaky practice that makes you pay more than you expected. The service was not even good, the staff was rude and slow. • They do not respect your dietary preferences or allergies. I asked for a pizza without seafood, because I am allergic to it, but they served me a pizza with salmon on it. When I complained, they did not apologize or offer to replace it. They just said that salmon is not seafood, which is ridiculous. • The food quality and taste was awful. The pizza crust was soggy and burnt, the cheese was rubbery and the sauce was bland. The carbonara pasta was like mac and cheese, it had no flavor or creaminess. It was just a pile of overcooked noodles with some cheese powder on top. • The tables were sticky and greasy, the cutlery was stained and the napkins were torn. I do not recommend this restaurant to anyone. Save your money and your health and go somewhere else.

We were on our way to another event in the Lake Como area and decided to stop in this place near the Funicolare. We only wanted some beverages, beer and soda (Coke), and also decided to get a small appetizer dishes to share amongst the 4 of us. As we neared, Chris met us and found a table for 4. We could not sit at a table along the main street because they were all full. Our table was just around the corner, and had a small view of the lake area, and it was also a little quieter. Chris, our server, did a great job taking care of us during our 30 minute stop. I hope that if you decide to visit this restaurant that your experience is as good as mine. Note, parking is difficult to find so plan accordingly.

We happened to see this place by the curb side and decided to dine inn!! This was our very first place and we were so so excited to try their pizzas, in general Italian pizzas. The pizzas were okay, honestly nothing great. Even the grilled vegetables were so soggy and not so fresh. For some reason, the staffs are not friendly and they’re arrogant. They don’t want to even look at your face and respond. As soon as we dined inn the staff walked up to us and spoke very very arrogantly, I mean it was a let down! We didn’t even want to walk past this restaurant after that. It’s a shame that if not for food, they can’t even please the customers with their polite behaviour!

Firstly, this place drew us in as it looked great when we walked past, so thought we’d have our first meal in Como at Lago.

I ordered the Pablo pizza, my partner ordered the Contadina Salad. It was instantly concerning that the food came out in roughly 10 minutes. The pizza came uncut, so I had to slit it up with a table knife which was like an Olympic sport. The pizza looked so soggy whilst doing this as I could see a layer of liquid on top. I finally got round to eating the pizza, but it was that wet, that when I lifted it up off the plate, the end of it would just flop over and the toppings would slide off as there was no rigidity. It was like eating a wet napkin. I was raising a slice of Pablo pizza, but by the time it got to my mouth, it was just a triangular shaped bit of dough with what was left of a tomato base. Utterly disappointing. Made better pizzas in the microwave.

For my partners salad, how could you go wrong? For starters, they added a mystery ingredient that wasn’t mentioned on the menu. There was cubes of cheese (hopefully cheese) in the salad that wasn’t featured on the menu. Normally this would be fine but my partner can’t eat cheese so wouldn’t have asked for this at all.

There was a bit of chicken in her salad that had a cube of cheese stuck to it, so she gave it to me to try. I was then unfortunately subjected to this salad. I never knew that chicken could be so hard it could be used to smash a double glazed window. It made sense at this point to why the food had come out so quick. Clearly just reheated but to the point where it was rock hard and drier than Gandhi’s flip flop.

We thought we got through the worst of our sitting, but when I got the bill, there was an automatic 20% service charge.

What a lovely location and this restaurant is just having a...

The food and most of the experience was really good, but what put me off was the sketchy practice of bringing "free" stuff like bread that indeed wasn't just a sign of hospitality. We were charged €6 on top of the whole order for 4 slices of bread that we thought were just aperitifs that are typical add-on in restaurants here. However, in no restaurant we were charged for it or we were asked if we wanted some paid starters. Here no, we got it just like that without any information about it being paid service.

Some would say it's minor but it's still €6 euros for 4 slices of bread... That's rather expensive bread... It's a sketchy practice, that really is not what should happen in such a place, people should be able to upfront predict the bill and ni service or payment, should be hidden or require customers to ask and double check if they will be charged for something that just seems like a sign of hospitality..

Another low-standard thing was the waiter that seemed unhappy to have customers to please, and barely visited us. To pay the bill I had to look for someone else to get the info that I can pay near the bar and then pay for the meal..

I have mixed fillings if I would personally recommend this place. Food? All good, but the rest seems like one...
