Came in here for lunch. Was served by a black woman who told me to choose a table and she'd come round soon. I was left at my table for at least 15 minutes and had no service whatsoever. It wasn't busy and pretty much everyone sat down had already ordered food and drinks so there was no excuse for lack of service. Due to the long wait, I decided to leave and go elsewhere. I recall all the waiting staff standing around talking to each other which explains why no one came to serve me (or another lady sat near the back). I also recall one of them shouting at me and then stomping on the spot in a bid to make fun of me leaving. Very disrespectful and disappointing experience because I was looking forward to trying the food they had on offer. If the waitress in question offered to take my drink order, I would have stayed. I will not be visiting this place again.
Tip for anyone visiting Florence: If you don't speak Italian, don't come here. They'll treat you rudely and ignore you.
I went to another restaurant up the road who treated me better and were very appreciative and patient when I attempted to speak Italian to them and served me quickly (took my drink order when they sat me at my...

Wow, this place is something special! Interior is crazy and beautiful — mix of old vintage things, funny details (the cat in hat is my favorite!), and a bit of old Italy charm. Very cozy atmosphere.
We ordered two dishes — one with raw meat, burrata, pesto and seeds — oh mamma mia, this was so fresh and tasty, like dream. Second plate was big mix with different cured meats, cheeses, pickles, fruits and delicious toasts with different creams. Every bite was like little story!
People working there are super nice, smiling and explaining everything. You feel welcome and relaxed, like in friend’s home.
We love this place with all our hearts and 100% will come again when back in Firenze. Perfect for lunch or romantic dinner.

Read moreMy girlfriend wanted to try my favourite Italian dish which is 'pappardelle al ragù di cinghiale'. When the food arrived she got a rather uncooked chewy tasteless papardelle as if it came out of a microwave from a few days ago which was not tasty at all I gave it a try and told her that if she doesn't like it she should stop eating it because it was the worst pappardelle I've eaten in my years of coming to Italy...but she insisted on eating it out of politeness. The lasagna I got was good though. But I cannot recommend getting any...
