Came here because I read some pretty ridiculous reviews online about the absolutely amazing shots here that could "blow you out of the city." When we got here, my friends and I were not disappointed. There is most likely a wait at the bar for their specialty shots, but trust me, the experience is worth it. The specialty shots are made by a bartender who looks like a mad scientist, who for 4 Euros per drink will painstakingly make the shot experience wonderful with his enthusiasm and mixing knowledge. This place is developing a cult following due to social media. The main attraction is Eby’s cocktails, which he makes in shot glasses. Your interaction with him begins with a short interview regarding what you’re in the mood for. He then meticulously crafts something seemingly original for you. What he made us was different than anything he made for others while we were there. The drinks both tasted good - and were incredibly visually appealing.

This spot is so iconic. Whether you are a local or a tourist, you won't want to miss these creative shots. I personally hate rum, but everything I've tried here has always been amazing. I drop by at least once every time that I am in Florence. Ask Eby to make you something creative. He will see what you like, then whip up something lovely. Be careful not to drink too many of these, as they go down easy, but will leave you with a hangover from the sugar if you have more than a few...
