Finnegan's — Restaurant in Florence

I can't say enough good things about this pub. First, coming from Ireland, it was the only true Irish pub we visited during our entire trip. And yes, we did visit many others but this was the only authentic one we found and it was brilliant. They had all the brands of pints we liked, multiple matches on the telly, darts, crisps, even an outdoor smoking area with the same stools my local back home has. I even had a ham and cheese toastie with my Taytos. The staff were lovely and you could not ask for better atmosphere here as everyone we met was sound, which included a large group of expats. Stumbled on this place as it was close to out accommodations. We had a great time. We were there on a Friday Night ( Sept 2023)and they had various artist playing live music. It was alot of fun and the live music was good. Drinks were very reasonably priced. Myself, My brother and Sister in law live in Ontario, Canada and met a couple there who are from 2 hours from where we live. We had such a lovely time. I saw this fine pub on the way back to my hotel after a really long afternoon walking the city. I decided to come check it out and found a great place to relax, talk to some wonderful locals and listen to great music.
