Fuor di Porta — Restaurant in Florence

If you go to Florence, you HAVE to go here! The owner is very kind and you will feel at home when you go to this wine shop. Both the shop owner and the locals that come here will make you feel welcome.

The prices are incredible, the wine is really good and on top of that, there's food available to order. I was in Florence for 4 days and I came here every day to order the wine on tap. Ever since I came back from vacation, I haven't been able to stop talking about this wine shop because I had such a great experience there.

What a hidden gem! This is the best sandwich place on this side of the river. The owners are supremely friendly, and the food and wine are all amazing. We tried a number of their sandwiches and lampredotto plates - all absolutely exceptional. We've came back to buy their wine on tab throughout my stay here - where they have a great selection of local Tuscany wine for incredible value. Beautiful little spot for an aperitivo! Vino sfuso which is wine from casks at very reasonable prices. The friendly owners made suggestions and gave us some tasters before we chose what to have. The cold cut meats and cheese were amazing too. You can get a bottle poured, corked and labelled as a takeaway as well. We wish we had discovered this gem before our last night as we would definitely have been back...
